Awesome thread...

I really am a fan of all these guys, I just root for different riders different seasons. Since my two favorites for this SX Season (Reed and Canard) are out. I'll probably be rooting for James Stewart and Ryan Dungey. I'm a big RV fan - he was who I wanted to see win last year after his broken leg - but I mostly just want to see a close series. I'm going to root for anybody who makes the series exciting, but more so Stewart now because things are just looking really bad for him right now.

KDub but probally wont go out of my way to watch the races now. I am a Honda fan and it went Canard/Reed, KDub, Brayton, and Short. Now that Canard and Reed are done not much hope for even a Honda win. If Honda would have put Tomac on Canards or Reed bike I would probally watch just to see what he can do.

Stewart, just because I think he's the only one that can challenge RV straight-up and I want to see some more battles!

Dungey is putting in the work. I will have to go with him. Always going for the underdogs. Even though I like RV a ton, I want to see a race for the top spot at every round.

Dungey will settle for positions too often for my bench racing tastes. Like to root for a guy that steps up for the battle! If Dunge comes out blazing and puts it to RV like he did outdoors I might have to revisit this. haha. Is cool to see KTM higher up the pecking order though.

Ideal situation for us fans is a mechanical DNF for RV. haha. RV is fun to watch when his chips are down. His DNF last year would have screwed with some competitors but he still kept it together. Be interesting to see if Tomac can do the same.
It's crazy that most feel that way. I too feel the same way as you. Dungey is to "safe". But I find myself asking why do I feel this way? Dungey's strategy wins championships. He very well could have won 4 in a row (not even counting his 250 titles) and he's in prime position to capture a 5th because if his "safe" riding.

Im almost mad at myself for not being a bigger Dungey fan. As if 4th gear thru the whoops and massive triples arent putting-it-on-the-line enough.

But to answer the question Ive lost interest. Reed shoulda brought in JLaw or something.

I'll thoroughly enjoy watching both SX2 classes now tho.

Hopefully Bubba shows up for the outdoors so we have at least a "Big 3" (probably "Fantastic 4" at the rate Alessi is going)
