Hi ,
Long time ago that I posted here.. But I didn't want to keep this for myself..
Bought in december 2011:
Now...almost ready:
Originally an 1988 CR250, but since I had to change the link for the better 1989 version and I placed WP USD frontforks, I decided to rebuild it like a Honda CR250 1989
Still some things to do: Rebuild and outline the kickstartlever, giving it a chain
, but for now I happy with the result..

Rims are Warp9, hubs are the original Honda 's, but sandblasted and powdercoated. Spokes are stainless steel handmade here in Holland by a specialist.
And now I started:
Plastics are from UFO and gastank is the original one, after 5 hours of sanding and polishing..
Clutch and ignitioncover are billet and also made here in Holland. Exhaust and silencer are FMF.
Frame was sandblasted and powdercoated. Engine completely rebuild by myself.
Cases were blasted and spraypainted with VHT engine enamel.
Footpegs are new aftermarket for a CR500, brake lever was made out of the original one and a CRF450
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
But I also have a CR500AF and an italian TM450, so it will be also be a little bit of a garage queen
This is the CR500AF. Not oldskool, but Oldskool intentions
What was needed to fit the updated ‘89 linkage?
