All i can think about while watcing this video is......Why could they not have had these in the two stroke days..........

Just think how cool it would have sounded with the epic 125 and 250 smoker battles we have seen.

Go Pro Robby Reynard Unadilla think 99 caught and passed RC moto 1 That would have been a totaly epic GO PRO. The sound alone would have made me feel more American.

A real good one is Daytona from '05. They showed a couple laps from RC's helmet cam when he was right behind Reed. The sound is epic.

It took me a second to realize they didn't actually speed up the footage when he passed Brayton. He had some crazy corner speed coming off of the step on step off, too.

Thanks Scottie! It's crazy how fast those guys go. It was neat to see how JS set up CR in that vid. I also watched the vid from Oakland. Just awesome!

The step on, table, table was way faster. I was surprised RV said he saw James doing when he was on the next lane and started doing it and also Chad after he was behind James.

That thing was massive all night. From Club seating I could feel the warmth like I was sitting right in front of a camp fire:

I liked the video of Mike Alessi when he comes up to Jeff. He's screaming like they're having a blast. So cool

good call.

it's worth watching this vid to 1 hear these screams. sounds like they're havin a great time even tho they're buried.

2- compare those 1st lap lines with stewart's- it's no wonder the leaders gap the pack so fast.

Stewart was running some really tight lines the first few laps. The double in the sand section that lead them on to the start, he almost hit that inside tuff block. He pulled Chad quite a bit in that section.

And right hander before the Third base line triple, he was running really close to the inside.

He nearly lands on Short's head in the whoops too! Must be weird riding in a stadium like that - with your BROTHER!

Expect the Stewart vid is interesting for Reed to watch too. Or any of the guys getting passed.

I think it shows how much more of a chess match SX is over MX:
They spend so much time in the air, and it is so easy for the rider in front to cut them off that they really have to plan their passes to get themselves in a situation where the other rider can't do anything about it.
It really is a testament to these guy's ability that there aren't more crashes and getting together. We look at the guys who don't make the top 5 as losers, but there is mad skill involved all down the the 20th rider.

Man James passed Dungey like Dungey was on an 80.It takes a holeshot and a bunch of mistakes from the top 3 for Dungey to podium...just saying
