Very Sad was just got a call earlier about the deal. Maybe the man above needed a good wrench in the house.Prayers go out to all involved.

It would be a nice idea for Feld to give the man props during the next venue.

Really sad news...one of those things in life that doesn't make any sense when someone loses their life while going out of their way to help someone else.

Godspeed, Tex.

People need to get their heads out of their behind, slow down and/or change lanes when someone is on the side of the road. Way to many of these type of accidents. Friend of mine had both of his legs crippled this way.
Tragic loss, My heart goes out to his family and friends. Rest In Peace

the stretch of I-4 that this happened on is an absolute zoo. It does not surprise me that someone "texting" hit him. I REALLY hope James get on the podium and mentioins the texting part. i.e. "don't text and drive"

that shit makes me cringe when i see people doing it.

Wow that's horrible, only stopped to help another person to.

2 people killed here in the last few months due to texting and driving. cant someone invent a texting jammer that is standard equipment in all new vehicles, people are just too stupid to take the responsibility on for themselves.

Same thing happened in my area to a tow-truck driver. Damn shame. People need to slow down, move over, & pay attention.

RIP Tex.

Very hard to hear that being kind hearted sometimes ends in tragedy. Prayers to Tex's family and the poor woman that he was helping. I'm sure it will affect her for the rest of her life as well.

Absolutely tragic... RIP Tex

Texting while driving... just dumb... needs to be banned and penalties should rival DWI convictions when caught.

People driving and texting make me sick, phones make me sick in public because they are more important to people then whats actually going on around them.

Texting and driving is pretty bad...not jumping on the trashing bandwagon, but most people can't drive properly even when not texting. On my street bike, I have been cut off many a time in the city by drivers on their phones, a friend had stopped on the side of the road with his mates when a driver clipped him and nearly lost his leg. People have to realize, they NOT that important to be needing to drive and talking on their phones, pull over or get a hands-free device(although it is still distracting, as some can't walk and chew)!! I think people should put into perspective how much distance one covers in one second, even at 30 MPH now double that and look away from your driving, imagine what can happen in that time frame!! Yes, while you look at your phone to text or dial a number, that is exactly what you are doing!!

RIP Tex
