That seriously makes me want to puke.
There was no reason for that news feature other than the fact they are lesbian. I am far from anti-gay, but they are exploiting their sexual orientation to get try and hook up some kind of free ride. If gay people are supposed to be accepted like everybody else, then what is so special about them. Raising awareness?? Of amateur-level homeless lesbian FMX'ers?

There are thousands of racers around the country trying to make it as a pro rider some day. Does their sexual orientation somehow make their quest less noble? Homosexuals can face extra difficulties in life, but that news piece was ridiculous.
