Canard had a banner wrapped on the left side of his rear tire that is why he rolled the double. Man I was bummed when I saw that crash. it was really violent in person.
Just seen the video!

Those banners should be made not come off so easily. That crash could have been a lot worse.

That was very violent and disturbing.

Whomever is responsable for the tuff block covers should be spoken to, or a better method of securing them should be improvised.

Might not want to jump too fast into blaming the tuff block covers. There may be a good reason why they're easily removable.

Man, I have to say, every time I see something like that I start to think Supercross is just throwing the Christians to the lions. The only difference is that the spectators aren't Romans hoping to see blood; everyone wants to see a good race, but everyone also knows what can happen. But it's just a crazy-dangrous sport, and if I had a kid who had the potential to be a really great racer, I would strongly advise him to just race the outdoors and leave that SX stuff alone.

When you line up for a SX race, you're putting your life in the hands of Fate.

Great tweet by KDub, you know he's aware of how bad things can go every time he goes to the line.

or maybe riding balls out in the fastest mx series in the world carrys a large amount of inherent risk. I mean really a 375 lb bike rider combo lands on his head from 30 feet up and all he got was knocked out? seems pretty damn blessed to me.
