It was a great day and a bad day at the same time.
That day, I earned my first trophy
It was also the weekend that the promoter decided to spray some oil (this is not bullshit) onto the dirt during the week and churn it in to hold down dust.
It was not supposed to rain that week, but it did, and it turned parts of the track into a tarry mess and I was fortunate enough to crash, flat on my back, into one of the "tar holes"
It got all over me and soaked into my hair inside my helmet.
Washed with everything including gasoline (Gas in your hair and on your face does not feel good) to get it all out, with no luck.
The next day, my head was buzzed to almost a crew cut
It was a great day and a bad day
