Sensational rides....set up a great season, made good of a poor situation (Reeds bike setup and Tomac's shit start).

Reed said the track was nothing like their test tracks or previous SX layouts...was not motivated to race..had to setup from scratch in practice, why he only managed 7th fast time...pretty impressive effort really.

Couldn't that be said for each and every rider out there?

Not really, Reed's pretty much just had 2 weeks on the bike unlike the other top guys.

Track was so one lined it wasn't funny. There were two spots to really pass and even those werent great

Nothing to separate the riders at all.

Whoops were horrible. No real rhythm sections.

Cant wait for some different lines and jump sections.

RV got what was needed, the start. Who ever got the holeshot was going to win tonight.

Did I miss the Seely thread about how he handed it to everyone in 250's.

That was very impressive

Man he looked REALLY good.

He just ran away from everyone. Thought Tyla would start to pick up some time as the race went on but that wasn't the case

He rode well last year and looks like he picked up from where he left off.

Yeah unless someone had a replica a1 track at home they were all in he same boat. IMO reed doesn't need any excuses he rode really well.

You know Chad has a busted foot and hand right?!

Why has reed only had 2 weeks on bike? Hadn't heard of any injuries.

I'm a big reed fan, but the track comments reminded me of his whining days. What about the privateers that train on a mx track for sx?

Read some of the other riders views of the track, you could clearly see Stewart was not impressed with it either but just wasn't as honest as Reed on camera. Even GuyB mentioned in another thread the riders were not fans of the track, I'm sure some interviews will be available soon.

Thanks to OC

Ivans take on the track:
"Not the best night but got out of there safe. Track was a joke. Reminded me of a endurocross track"

Tomac's pass on Wilson was brutal in many ways - and he didn't even make contact. Awesome ride. Reed, rode like, well.. Reed! Solid.

I know most were not fond of track. But it looked good on tv, plus that track saved reed. He would of probably finished 4-5 if it was easier to pass on.

Reed had the 2nd fastest lap in the main from RV, he was very solid after his fall at the end of the race with Dungey close behind

You're right I just looked at lap times.reed was actually more solid than I gave him credit for.

I think RV would won even if he didnt get the holeshot. Top 5 start and he still would have won IMO. Being a REED fan I'm scared of potos speed.

I think Villopoto was going to win as long as he had a top 5 start. If whomever got the start was going to win, Tyla would have won his main event.
