Dude, I've been financially strapped (worse than usual). Brand new shiny bike in the garage but no money to ride it. Actively looking for a second (or higher paying) job. There are jobs out there that I am technically qualified for (by education and shit) that would increase my pay by over 50%. If I could land one of those, you'll be seeing a LOT more of my fat ass. hahahahha.

There is a job I applied for back in like July that is supposedly going to be filled in Feb or March. I have my fingers crossed for that bad boy. Might save my season but I will have to "race myself into shape". LMAO! Yeah right....I'll stay round and cushy. The blubber helps me avoid injuries. It's like having underarmour on all over.

Keep eating McDonalds and BK and get as big as you can and still ride. The bigger you are the more room for sponsor logos on your riding gear.

Given 99% of your posts are filled with sarcastic, semi-dickish comments, which usually entertain me pretty well, I can't decide if you're trying to slip something serious in here on us or not.

Is this some sort of riddle post? and you just are waiting to see what people say before you punk us?

haha. Glad you get my humor and semi-dickish-ness.

I was being semi-serious. I know I'm never gonna actually get a sponsor but I really DO need the help (who doesn't?).

If you sign up for HookIt or MXSponsor you get discount sponsorships. Of course shipping will just replace the cost on most stuff. But some of the deals are decent and they even give you free stickers, yay!

I get great deals at MXsponsor.com. 50.00 a year for good deals from 10% to 50% on most moto companies!

I know most of the responses in here are jokes and pretty amusing, but if you are serious, you could start by simply writing a nice cover letter and include a short resume of your performance. Also be sure to iunclude a schuedule of specific larger events you plan to atten and race. It's a bit late in the game to get 2012 sponsors, but it doesn't hurt to try. As was stated before, it's not always about winning, but about getting their name out. If you are attending alot of events and are a good spokesperson, then people will want you to help get their name out there. Keep in mind, most sponsorships will be partial and not full. Every little bit helps!!

I know WD40 used to give sponsorships to anyone who asked as long as they displayed the logo and sent them some pictures to use if they wanted to.
