I'm sure shes a great girl, and I'm gonna be the first to say it, but no boobs no hips,I'm just not feeling it. She looks 14.

I think Milsaps is bummed cause he knows no one, including himself, can even get close to James.

Racing for second can be hard on the ego when you have won all your life.

It sure is easy for all the benchracers to get on here and bash. I bet 2% of the people board couldn't go out and do a 20 min. moto in 90 degree weather and keep lap times within a second. Much less a 35 min moto in 105+ degrees on a super gnarly track.
My guess is that 99% of the bench racers on this board couldn't do 10 min.

I do 20 minute moto's every time I ride. I also work around 60 hours a week, raise 2 kids, take care of 125 acres with 30 bison.

What are Mr. Davi's worries about, other than riding a motorcycle???

I just watched the Texas race last night...he should be embarrassed to be out there like that. How can a PROFESSIONAL racer get tired while racing in a 35 minute race?

Unbelievable!!!

What do you do for and living ,and as far as you occupation are you one of the best in the country?

Burned out? WTF...go work a 40-50 hour a week job where they dont wash your bikes for you and change your diapers between moto's
Do you really not understand how someone at this level can get burned out? If you don't then you really have no understanding of what these guys do week in and week out for nine to ten months out of the year.

You might ride 20 minute motos every time you ride, but you don't go a fourth the speed or intensity that Davi or any of the top 20 do.

Look, I normally stay fairly quite and don’t like bickering on these boards, but when people start talking shit about these kids it really pisses me off. Almost all of these kids have grown up with tremendous pressure since they were on minibikes. If you don’t understand that then there is no reason to carry this conversation any further.

Sure, they have a lot of pressures of winning and doing good for their sponsors...That's why I think that training 4 days a week wouldn't be too much to ask for.

The are professional atheletes that are being paid to race, promote, train, practice...

I can see somebody outside of the top 20 fading in a race.

I respect the riders and the pressure and the talent it takes but come on Jim at Factory Honda level is riding hard for 30 minutes plus 2 really something not reasonable to ask ?

And no I couldn't do it but I didn't choose that as my profession either.

I could.

Of course, they'd be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY slow lap times, but that's not what you asked for. Tongue

Training four days a week isn’t always enough. Health plays a big part in a rider’s ability to be conditioned properly. Injury is also a big factor and you might be surprised how many are riding with a major injury. I know most of you don’t want to hear this but mental burn out is very real and it also plays a big part in a riders ability to stay focused.

I’ve been around riders that train their asses off and still aren’t conditioned as well as they need to be and there’s not a lot they can do about it... No need to beat these guys up on the moto boards because most are hard enough on themselves as it is.

don't know about you, but I didn't have that choice...

I think Davi has some issues that aren't necessarily related to fitness.

Does it piss you off when a guy that doesn’t have the ability to fix his own fuel injectors tells you how to do you job?
Lots of moving pieces to these guys lives and you, I or the rest of the people on this board aren’t always up to speed with the day to day problems these guys live with whether it’s health related, injury or just plan mental burnout.

I would like to know why Mike Alessi and Shorty, and Especially 33 yr old Ferry aren't having this problem. We damn sure know Stewart ain't!! I want to know, ......Why aren't these other riders having this problem???

I agree with jmar completely. Until you see how hard these guys work to make a living you don't even understand. I go to college and race the A class at quite a few amateur nationals. I train 6 days a week and take sundays or mondays off depending if I'm racing that weekend. I can't run sprint pace for 20 min in the summer. The training these pros go through is insane. From diet and nutrition down to time in the gym, it consumes almost every second of their life. Just being on the routine of a pro for a week, most people would be burned out.
