Won my 1st road-race.

Wife jus' smiled and said, "I hope you had fun 'cause that shit is just going to kill me. When you guys come out of 9 and head for that wall...well. No. You can go race the Dez, Moto...anything but this. I can't take it."

I've actually got a really cool chic for a wife. She didn't want to see me die like so many have at Willow and Sears.

I took the advice. I've even kept of the street-machinery...for the most part (shhhhh).

Racing on pavement isn't easy, or for the timid. Sure there's no 100' triples, but until you've had a get off at 100+ you won't understand. Leaned over, rubbing elbows and trading paint with another guy through a high speed sweeper will pucker your butt just as bad as motocross ever will.

say what you want, but at least road racers aren't viewed as flat-biller rednecks, like the mxers. their tracks aren't closing down nearly as fast either. i think OMG TOTALLY GNARLEY EXTREME ENERGY DRINK CROSS should try to present itself more like GP. at least their ad's aren't getting grouped in with monster trucks, mud-pulls and nascar.
