Check out this cool helmet cam of the Dominican Republic's Franklin Nogueras at the MX Day event on the island of St. Martin on Sunday:

Nice!

Is that track way over on the end of the Dutch side of the island?

French side just outside Marigot (Bellevue area) - close to the Dutch/French border.

I was there in 1992 and there was a little track on the Dutch side that I saw wasn't sure if they expanded it.

Used to work with a guy that has a house on the French side, went for a couple weeks.
If you get a chance take a day trip out to Pinel(sp) Island, just go over to the other side away from the cruise ships and it is gorgeous.

I love Maho beach I believe it is by the airport. Chill on the beach while 747s fly over your head. Also the bar/grill next to it is really awesome. So good, I'm heading there again tomorrow.

If you click dead center on the map to zoom in you'll see the track right on the water.. Pretty cool with as little land as they have that motocross made it on the Island somehow. Thx for sharing Matt.

We had a family vacation down in St. Martin last week and got a chance to ride the track there. We got hooked up with some great bikes (thanks Robin, Franck and Eddie) and got to ride on Saturday morning. The track was a lot of fun, very technical and euro feeling. Arm pump was in full effect but we had a blast. Track was fun, bikes were great but the people were the best part. Some of the nicest people I've very met. If you are ever down that way check it out. It was a blast to be able to ride on such a beautiful island.

Looks like a bit of a rough track but I bet the adventure is well worth it!

Looks a bit one lined....chest protector and hand guards would be required for the number of stones, rocks and boulders....oh yeah and it looks like it would softer to land on concrete than most of the track!

However it is way better than, no track at all!!

Talk about rocks....

You dont want to get hurt there either....

I think if I was there I would take the weekend off from moto and hit the water.

Wow. Serious rocks wouldn't fancy taking my elbow off on one of those. Still beautiful landscape and moto, doesn't get much better

I remember seeing some helmet footage from a race on Dominica, it was ridiculous, like awesome racing and loads of fans lining the tracks. Anyone remember it?
