I miss watching Ernie ride. So smooth.

He was really coming into his own before the accident. I used to love the fact that he always had a costa rican following at all the nats.

He was fun to watch mix it up.

TP was going to race for Puerto Rico in the MXDN.

Travis Pastrana has joined the MXDN Puerto Rico team and will do his best to hold up his end of the deal. As many by now should know Travis is involved in many different venues, one of them being rally car racing and that is basically his main focus right now, and I quote:

I was just going over this FIM / MXDN entry form and had a few questions. First off, thank you for considering me for your team. Jeff Cernic had mentioned it to me a while ago and I thought he was joking at first but after thinking it over, it almost makes sense. I have to warn you that rally car racing is my priority and my season will have to go almost perfect for me to be in a position to miss an event and still win the championship. Even then, subaru is going to kick my ass. I have made a career by doing everything wrong and somehow things seem to keep working out for the better, so why stop now If it works out, I will be in shape, I will ride my heart out and I will do the best that I possibly can to represent Puerto Rico

"On average, people crash out 1 of 3 to 4 events in rally. I have made it 12 straight rally America events finishing on the podium without any dnf's, but that is highly unusual for that sport."

EF10 Was a favorite for me . Tp is part Puerto Rican .

EF had one of the most smoothest style I've ever seen. He always looks super smoothed on the tracks. Definately miss seeing him ride.

EF was awesome and I enjoyed watching him race. I'll never forget on his rookie year when he chased down Kelly Smith for a victory. Or the Kodak gear when he was racing 80s. Ive watched EF for years.

I took these at Budds 2005.

There has been a lot of progress with spinal cord injury treatment lately due to a lot of stem cell research...it kills me to see all of these guys that have more talent in their pinky toe get whhelchair-ridden for possibly the rest of their lives. I would like to see the likes of Magoo, Fonseca, Bailey, Marshall, etc. have the chance to walk under their own power again let alone ride and do what they loved.

When I heard Doug Henry was making leaps and bounds with his therapy I breathed a sigh of relief that at least one of those guys was making some progress...
