I'm just a normal Joe who will trade a broken collar bone anytime if it MIGHT keep me out of a chair. I'm not going to jump in the debate of whether the thing works or not.

A pro rider who risks time off the bike for a broken collar bone has other options to weigh.

I have never seen any proof that knee braces do anything either yet we all wear those. How bout 'knee braces increase ankle breaks or femur breaks" . Why does every one want so much proof that neck braces work or don't break collar bones? I mean who cares about a collar bone if it would save your neck?
