Let us reflect. Ponder. Gaze at the sky in great wonder.

What was that one moment , when you witnessed his savagery first hand - that left your mouth wide open

and you, spilling your beer, nudging your drooling buddy, yelling " Did you %^&%##$ see that ?"

* For me, possibly like you, there were many, but when he put that very silly pass on Bubba at HP and

over-jumped the finish line thingey....I about coughed up my lower solenoids...

I think 34' ish. We don't talk anymore. Ever since he switched to NASCAR I've been acting like a little bitch

and have blocked his TWeets from entering my sovereign airspace.

Southwick when Bubbles scrubbed the finish line and RC proceeded to launch past him far into the 4 foot deep uphill sand whoops only holding on with one hand(throttle hand of course) to make the clean pass....

30 plus.

Hot damn it would be fun to watch him ride that at a local track and toy with the normal humans.

Happy Birthday RC, forever the greatest of all time Cool

I can't pick one thing Carmichael done on the track that was jaw dropping, there were hundreds Tongue One memory that does spring to mind from off the track however was at an autograph signing at Malcom Smith's the night prior to A1 2007. It was getting late so they apologised and said the riders needed sleep, but they let 25 more people up to get an autograph, as a 13 year old english boy I was desperate to get my hero's autograph and me and my family sprinted to the stairs to be one of the final 25 allowed up. When I got to RC, not only did I get an autograph, but I got a photo and a short but amazing conversation, something i'll never forget. Not one rider can ever come to close to challenging RC's title as the GOAT, both on and off the track.

Kawi, Honda and Suzuki were all snapshots of different stages in his career. Kawi was dethroning Jeremy. Honda was pure domination. Suzuki was proof he was the GOAT. When I think of one moment I just think of blurs of color, Ricky not having every appendage attached to the bike and a determination that probably left many people wondering how he was still alive.

With that being said... him hitting the boat at the Dallas SX. The "hoops" got him again. I was there, missed it, heard my buddy yell out "He hit the fuckin' boat!" and then proceeded to watch in replay on the smaller (Texas Stadium) big screens.

Parade lap whip with MC San Diego (I think?) and battling with Bubba at Glen Helen before he went down and injured his shoulder... still had to ride around most of the track in obvious pain.

One of those did you see that moments happened at the Anaheim 1 mud race in 2005. RC was jumping the triple at various times during that mud race. I don't know how many more even attempted it after the first lap.

If RC showed up in my +30 class, I would pull off just so I could watch him ride again. Not that me being out there would have any impact whatsoever on the outcome of the race, lol!
