I'm probably gonna take a beating for posting this.... but I don't take anything here personal so here goes......
Obviously..... Vegas K-Dub has a strong and assertive personality (and very knowledgeable) however... during the James Stewart call in segment of last nights show I noticed Kenny "completely regulate" Steve Matthes - Kenny effing wrecked Matthes.
Question #1 - The Show's names is PulpMX so obviously drama is expected however.... how long is Steve Matthes gonna let Kenny spit on him?
Question #2 - Is their a future for the Pulp MX Show with out the personality of Vegas K-Dub?
Please note: This post isn't about calling out Kenny, its about asking a couple of questions about the chemistry of the show host's and the future of the show.

I did chuckle at Kenny though "I AM THE FUCKING SHOW" haha. Reminded me of Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men haha.
On last nights show....Kenny was both a) serving tea bags (tea bagging) to James Steward and b) spitting on Steve Matthes - the dynamics's between Kenny and Matthes.
Make no mistake - Steve Matthes is most probably graciously holding back and not firing back 100% on Kenny Watson. I’ll bet ya 10 years of A1 tickets that if Steve Matthes stopped be gracious and diplomatic and gave Kenny Watson “the truth” what he really thinks and feels - Kenny would loose his composer and walk off the show sooner than later. Do you think for one minute that Matthes enjoys Kenny’s weekly beatings?
Do you really buy into this B.S. that the so called glue that holds the show together is mutual chemistry between Kenny and Matthes? I’ll bet Steve cant stand Kenny’s ruthlessness and probably mindfully looking and thinking about creative ways to find a replacement for Kenny and how to strategically manage the damage control that might arise from Matthes finding solid replacement fro Kenny.
Maybe I’m wrong and my preconceived notions are both wrong and off base
- my bet is on the self disintegration Matthes and Kenny’s show hosting relationship is inevitable - it might even blow up before A1.
PLEASE NOTE: the above is pure speculation.
Take your belt out a notch and just listen or "turn it off", I love the chemistry (or lack of) between them.
When the SIlly Season comes around for 2012-13...Kenny WILL be out there fightin' for a Stewie Level Rider...maybe that's his intent?
Stewie won't be avail...but...I'm guessing he WAS avail. until jus' recently...so...there's probably PLENTY that Kenny knows.
But, the real news...?
H-n-H comin' out w/ 2 rigs and an Awning that you'll be able to see from space.
No-ONE in the "Privateer Team Game" is spending more/smarter money on their bikes, either. Carey and Kenny have truned this team into it's own Profit Center in a VERY SHORT time.

To be more clear on my post - Watson turns healthy "Competitive Bench Racing into Unhealthy Dirty Personal Attack's on his fellow show host. If you were in Matthes shoes and your fellow show host "Get's Dirty and Attack's you Personally" I guarantee you would be bummed out about the situation.
I like the show, its gets agro... its perfectly reasonable for me to open a discussion about the behavior of one of the show host's

Mathes is the star of the show and Kenny is the replaceable sidekick.
Mathes has got himself an audience. He's filling a need, satisfying audience demand for content.
Kenny is helping him create the content and has a front row seat to the weekly events, but no one is going to tune out if Kenny doesn't show. They have an entire cast of clowns and regular callers (see case study- the Howard Stern show) to replace any dead air that might result from a Kenny departure.

maybe you dont remember a few episodes ago where matthes was ripping on kenny every chance he got when kenny was giving really insightful knowledge into the business side of his team. the whole "B to B" thing. Kenny was giving great info and matthes was rippin on him for it. its a playful exchange. dont fret.
The show works because of this dynamic imo. I hope he comes back next year.
