Did we ever get Josh Grant's announcement?

It was posted on Twitter that he'd be dropping some news about the same time as James' version of "The Decision."

Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember hearing anything (if we we did please delete).

I scanned his twitter and all I came up with was this picture he posted:



I see there's some vibrant green in the background; H&H?

What got me thinking about Josh Grant is the AS29 video on TWMX. Brooks said some things that me me think JG.

Ya gotta love this industry. These hints at announcements that never come are stellar. He is allegedly at Jeff Ward Racing/L&M but we know that based on a Tweet saying "all inked up" and a roundabout comment about Jeff Ward's old mechanic. There was never any official release on Alessi and MotoConcepts either. These teams seem to miss out on opportunities at free press and attention. JGR certainly seems to have no issue with making announcements. Others should take note.

My point stands, there has been no official announcement regarding Grant. Not on any MX news site was there any press release stating a Grant signing. His Tweets say he is signed, sort of, so I believe he is. Still, no announcement.

Yeah, Jim256, the grapevine is how most signings are learned about!

My understanding is that Motoconcepts did send out a PR on Alessi, but press were asked to take it down or wait to post it. That had something to do with Alessi looking else-ware for a ride after supposedly signing with Genova. Transmoto did leave it up however.

Later on after Alessi's other deal didn't work out his Dad posted an "official PR" here and presumably on other sites about 800 to Motoconcepts.

Many will say JG to Ward is official, these are probably the same guys who said Stew to Suzuki was official. No release? Not official. Same with team BM.

I'm hoping Grant does well on the Kawi. Most seem to adjust to it pretty well.

Yep, X2 on that. I'm gonna bet that his injuries are behind him. He had a long stretch in the lites where he was injury free. RC had an adjustment period to the bigger bikes, but made it through. I think that's where Grant is.

I'm thinking that if its true that Chiz signed with Wardy's team maybe they were waiting to sign their second rider to send out an official PR statement. Just my thoughts
