Interesting MXA interview Re: JS7 and DM

Intereresting how he said they wanted Dungey first, before Stewart.

Very interesting to see the direction Showa is taking with their fork development. They have made two large improvements in just the last year with the SFF and now the "air fork."

I was most impressed with the idea that the heavier fork goes on the side away from the caliper to neutralize the weight. I can see where that is going to imrpove turn-in on the handling.

It would be a huge advantage if they can get this air fork worked out. They would eliminate the need for spring changes then a revalve would be cut in half by only needing to modify the one shim stack. This might make suspension mods cheaper for customers because they would no longer have to purchase matched spring sets. Nitrogen and valve shims are cheap and revalve labor is reduced.

The Coy Gibbs interview is exactly the type of revealing dialogue that we want to hear. You can tell that he is in a place where he can say what he thinks and basically lay it all out there in an open fashion.

Maybe because they knew Dungey's contract was up and didnt realize James was available.
