This team with that staff needs another rider. I don't know anything about the Honda deal and if there is an alotted bikes-parts number from honda that would effect it or not. Even if rider #2 did not have the factory tranny etc they should have one more guy riding out of that trailer.
Reed said last night that his bike will the factory, and if he had a 2nd rider it would be a PC bike

Interesting that Factory Honda uses Yoshimura systems yet they say Reed's getting Factory bikes with PC.

Love me some Canard but I think a good goal for him this year would be to actually FINISH the season...

LMAO!! Is isnt all that crazy a statement though.I would argue that Trey was the fastest guy on the supercross track when he got hurt last year. The killer with him though is all the injuries though. When he should be progressing, he's just getting back to were he was when he got hurt. RV came back from a bad injury though and I dont see anything in his makeup that Trey doesnt have

Speculation was correct and Reed is staying with Honda for a 2 year contract. Wish him the best of luck.

Do you guys think Suzuki will try to get any other riders?

Right on, Reed is the best thing Honda has going for them .
Windham may sell more bikes and creates a ton of positive press for Honda, even though he rarely challenges for wins.

go back in your DVR history, and watch the mec again. Villo is going to be unstoppable on that kxf. As I press the white envelope to my head, I see villo, Stewart, the dunge, le duck, and reed. In that order

its going to be an awesome year for sure. I see shorty & Brayton being top 10 guys but with that top 5 of rv, cr, rd, js & tc they are gonna struggle to get on the podium. What I reckon though is that if those top 5 guys get bad starts it's going to be harder than ever to get back through the pack and best case they'll be looking to get a 4/5th place finish. I think consistency is gonna be the ticket this year, get on the box every week and your not going to be far away.
For sure RV is gonna be tough to be beat, and to be fair he's prob only gonna be better than last season so it's gonna take a big effort from one of the others to topple him. I think the key for CR & JS is to not screw each other up because if you look at it thats what cost reed for sure last year, ATL, Dallas & Houston, they have to look big picture which is RV
Also i think it's awesome that twotwo will have their 'shop' inside the american honda building, that is a massive deal for Reedy and with the team he has behind him you kno his bikes are going to be amazing, can't wait to see how they look and if he gets a title sponsor.....come on Astephen!!!

That's exactly what people were saying about Villopoto after he broke his leg last year. They were saying he doesn't have the consistency for a title against Dungey, etc.

I worry a little about Canard, but he should be ok. In his rookie season, Villopoto got on the podium 5 times, two of which were wins. And he rarely kept up with the leaders. In Canard's rookie season he also got on the podium 5 times, but three of them were wins. Plus he did it against more competition, and he kept up with them just fine.

Reed coming into the season on a bike he's already comfortable on will be huge--he easily could've won the title this year if he had had more time on it before A1. I'm sure he'll be ready to go racing on 1/7.
