Why is this so hard for some people to understand? The 'Big announcements' are done to market the main sponsor! If you'd just chucked a ton of money for someone to run your logo, youre going to want to have the team announced in a big manner! Not just a cruddy phone pic tweet, to let people know whats happening..

Reeds had tweets in the past along the lines of 'returning the suzuki today' this that and everything else.. But, maybe he's fooling us? He's just having fun. The two two rig was filled with Rockstar all year, even Osterman has been drinking them and showing no care, not like he's meant to hide it or anything weird like that. They've kind of been an unofficial sponsor.. It'd be great for Suzuki to get Reedy and great for Rockstar.. Theyre kind of the outkasts now and everyones turned their back on them, for some reason.

I can see him staying on the Honda, but theyre going to be a bit stretched this year, with all the teams and riders. Suzuki doesn't really have any riders -(Metty) and need someone. I don't think they have the money left though, as Dungeys contract and win bonus, pretty much bankrupted them.

I gotta say, it would look good to see a two two motorsports/ Rockstar energy/ Suzuki up their, instead of another honda. I'm sure Rockstar are going to do whatever possible to get Reed. They only have Valli left for 450's and with the merge of Star/ Valli, how long is that going to go on? I know they just locked up Mo simply down to the Rockstar ordeal, but Rockstar/DNA/Valli/Star racing, doesnt sound like it'll work.

Couldn't agree more about the Tweeting and attention-ho'ing. I wanted to confirm this was his blister and his Tweet before commenting, and it is. That does not bode well for A1 lurking just....I believe only 9 weeks away now? Last year he seemed to be on it from the moment the season ended straight through, and I think his 2011 results reflected it. This off-season he seems to be reverting to what he did in the 2009 off-season heading into SX 2010. Of course it was the Kawasaki's fault.

I dont see why a few are thinking he is late starting? I guarantee he has been doing some riding just not hard testing

James has only just signed his deal, likewise probably doing some riding between car drives and announcements

Ryan V has been on Honeymoon for 2-3 weeks?

It seems the only one who has been testing hard is Ryan D, and that is probably because he has too......

As far as industry respect and drama queen I am not privy on those issues. But from the outside I can say that Mitch isn't the be-all end-all of industry respect, as witnessed by his association with Hansen for the past several years. Other Tweets (of yesterday) by Reed are him bad-mouthing the Aussie SX promoter, do we see a common theme here? When things don't work out, Reed bad-mouths. I can say that something seen from the outside that points to drama queening is Tweeting (during the MEC telecast) about how RV's $1mil is only actually $500,000 lump sum, or paid out over 20 years in an annuity. Is that REALLY something that needed to be pointed out as RV was collecting the biggest purse in MX history (by far!) regardless of how Reed wants to diminish it? That REALLY came off as being high school chick crap, which of course goes hand in hand with all the Tweeting. "Like OMG, did U C her makeup? #tramp".

I'm no insider but the more you hear the more it seems like it is full of crooked dirt bags. Maybe Reed just likes to point out the ones that deserve it with his first hand knowledge. He speaks very highly of certain people such as Decoster as an example.
That said, twitter is one of the most annoying things I have ever seen. But I do check it out on occasion. Huh

When you are spending YOUR money on YOUR Racing...it makes PLENTY of Sense.

When the opportunity, economics and timing allow Chad to add a rider...I'm sure he'll do it. The fact is, he's already spoke about it and...guess what...the sponsorship/2 rider deal simply hasn't come together, yet...or has it?

We'll find out on Monday.

I do know this much: Honda has REALLY stepped up and will be supporting more "Factory" level bikes than they've supported since the '80s. If I'm not mistaken: 6 450s.

Some people amaze me in this place. Put any rider in Reeds place and I would react just the same. For the record... The reason Chad hasn't rode until now is

A.OEM still was not decided.
B.He chose to hang out with his family.

With that being said, I believe both of those are good reasons. Getting yourself burnt out gets you nowhere. The reason that RV was still riding was to win money. Also the fact that the race was sponsored by his main sponsor. IRONIC. As for Dungey, he has obviously been riding because he has to test a brand new bike that nobody has ridden before except for an Austrian and Andrew Short. Give it up douchers, the only drama is the crap you seek.

It's called being a team owner and figurehead of the team. ANd that's one of the reasons so many people, myself included, like him, because he takes time to do stuff like that. Reed is a BAD DUDE, and just because you don't know what his training program is doesn't mean that he isn't training.

He's behind the 8 ball as of right now. Stewart didn't know his OEM and has been riding SX for how long?

RV is winning on a bike that he could not and RV just won everything under the son he deserves 2 weeks off he is the guy right now.

RD would not have taken that much time off regardless of a bike switch. ( not arguing he is probably testing more now than training where as before it might have been the other way.)

I will also say I don't think any of the above are fighting blisters right now.

Someone said I don't know his training program and you are right. Neither do you. The fact seem to be that he is claiming to have taken time off so obviously he hasn't done much. Again that's a bad blister... It's not my problem if he is burn't out and I am sure the others don't care too much either.

I didn't really think me saying that he complains all the time and tries to fire of this message board constantly was that big of a deal. Why would he mention that he was dropping off a Suzuki at the shop? So Ddavis can get the lube out? I don't know

When I was in about 7th grade playing mcm2 you were my hero.

I am comparing them because at a1 they will all race each other. I had a Aussie team mate last year I understand you all stick together and I also understand what it takes to get back to aus. I guess if I say anything negative about Reed it's a losing battle on this site and maybe that's why I am the only one stating the obvious that he complains a lot and it looks like he's behind right now. It doesn't matter at all what anyone does all off season really as long as they are winning races and a championship... that is all that really matters.

I guess again my main point is... I really think he is just fucking with everyone and gets a kick out of it. How do you spell Win-ger? Is that the correct way?

I really thought more people would agree...
