Saying there is no rivalry is absolutely retarded. The whole 09 season no rivalry?...... how about in 10 when they both got injured for the rest of the year? How about 11 when Reed ran into Stew and then Stew proceeded to cut him off the remaining lap? I feel ya... and your entitled to your "$.02" but lets be real here. Just because they have taken each other out a few times doesn't make it a "rivalry".

I guess I have good company in the Retarded/Ignorant club because Stanton said it himself on the SX pre show last year that Reed has to be able to beat Stewart to be a rivalry.

Other than a one or two passes in his career and 3 or 4 takeouts when has Reed been able to hang with Stewart.

Chad is a pretty seasoned vet and doesn't eff up a ton, but I want to say the biggest mistake of his career was getting tangled up with James in PHX 2010. Yeah, I know hindsight and all, but you could see visibly that James was hurt bad in that crash in his heat race.

However, if it wouldn't have been for that broken hand and epstein barr that summer I doubt we would have ever seen 22 motorsports. You could say that everything happens for a reason and Chad has def gutted out some tough situations and proved that talent isn't all it takes to be successful. The dude is a workhorse and a fucking warrior. Tons of props to him and all his success. Totally deserved, not that he needs keyboard dillweeds to validate his success.

Stewart is faster on a lap to lap basis, i give you that. Stewart has also been faster and ahead of Reed throughout his career, im not arguing that the least little bit. Im not arguing who is faster, I am however stating that Reed has been up front, running with stewart whether hes crashing or racing to the end. Speaking of beating though i believe Reed finished 2nd in points this season and also probably saved #7 from possibly lawn darting near the stands after his whiskey throttle in the whoops this year. Is speed everything if you cant keep your bike on 2 wheels?

When your grabbing each other on the back of the neck, riding around next to each other yelling during a sx practice, having a heated discussion on a podium, making it very clear to attempt everything you can to hold someone back so they dont pass you while other riders go by, going up and knocking bikes off of stands after a race and going up to the trailer looking for that person, that would be in my book what i consider a rivalry.

Since Reed started racing in the premier class of Supercross he has won the series twice, finished in 2nd place six times, and missed one season due to injury. You can't count the guy out
