There's new fans coming into the sport all the time - wondering what all the fuss is about. They'll be googling to see who this James Stewart guy is, they'll start checking the record books to see what happened 3,4,5 years ago and then maybe they'll take an interest in him.

If you're lucky they'll watch a few episodes of Bubba's World on YouTube, listen to a few interviews and "Hey Presto" - some new people for you to argue with. No need to panic, your hobby should last a couple more years at least.

Its way different. I dont care one bit about that shit talking little Godaddy tart, but she grew up behind a wheel and knows her stuff. Shes only going to those boring rolling billboards because she cant hack it in a real race car. Plus her sponsors can get WAY more exposure with her hot-tempered ass going all postal in the SnoozeCAR pits. Shes a Cale Yarborough with boobs.

Do you guys expect James to ride his motorcycle 24 hours a day?

So, you are going to tell me that if JGR hired you guys (that think James should be bolted to his bike) - you wouldn't take a ride in a freaking race car for a few minutes?

Do you know how many thousands of very accomplished late model & modified dirt trackers there are around the Nation who have been at the track every saturday since they were old enough to carry a lug wrench ? Decades of weekends going in circles every weekend, , rummaging thru junkyards for salvage blocks & heads, countless hours building cars in shops, destroying cars and damn near crying as they haul your totalled hulk back to the pit, setting up cars, learning how its done with your own hands, the sweat, the blood, the big bucks out of their family budget to make the A-feature? These guys (and gals) are everywhere in the USA, they'd FREAK for a chance to even be considered to drive for that kinda team.

I got an idea, lets leapfrog ALL of that and let a guy test who wouldnt know where the start button was in a race car. Brilliant !

But that is JGR's decision, not mine. Is James supposed to turn down the chance to test because a lot of other people didn't get the same chance?

No, he can get in the car and smash up JGRs equipment if he wants. After all, its just like driving on the freeway, that stuff is easy ! Just go fast, and turn left !

The most-hated man in motocross seems destined to become the most-hated man in NASCAR, simply because of the way he obtained his ride?

Racer... I too have family that have raced their whole life and have went through everything that you mentioned. And I'm all for those people to get their shot but you of all people should know that in the racing world it's all about WHO you know and not what you've been through. As much as I have a problem with James just given this opportunity and not really earning it... I can't really blame him either.

HERE IS THE WAY TO REMEMBER IT:

The apostrophe takes the place of a letter. That's why "they are" is contracted to "they're"
And "you are" is contracted to "you're"

etc.

Hey, Sherwood, I am not admitting a thing to you. The only thing I am admitting is that I don't spend a great deal of personal time around James Stewart.
Was it a coincidence that James' drama with his team, a reality TV show, getting in the national news for being arrested, racing trucks, racing cars...coincided with a fourth place year? You ever see Ricky Carmichael come up smiling with a fourth place year and start talking cars?
Maybe he will prove me wrong. I hope so because I am a James Stewart fan. It just really reminds me of the story of the tortoise and the hare. Guess who is the hare?

Everyone wants every racer to be the next RC. It's never going to happen.

I thought James Stewart wanted to be RC, because he has announced he wants to break RC's records.
If he's happy with fourth, power to him!
He wants to break MC's record.

Nascar is dying to have a minority star in the ranks. JGR must at least consider the possiblity and give him a shot. He has the name recognition and as long as they can get sponsors, then it can happen.

Somewhere along the way you hafta have the natural born talent to do that stuff. As much as sedativeCAR bores me, I know enough to know its not easy to do what the top-10 guys are doing.

I mean every word of what I wrote. James is nothing short of a phenom in Supercross, he does stuff other riders would never attempt and makes it look effortless. IMHO the most innovative and talented to ever line up indoors.

Good to see someone(James) looking to the future. Maybe James feels that he is happy with what he has achieved in MX/SX and it's time to plot other goals in life.

To some, life is all about moto. To others, it's not.

Something keeps jabbing me in my back side...... Smile

I must be mistaken, did he just sign a contract to ride motorcycles or drive cars for JGR?

I really don't give a crap what he does but I sure as heck don't want to hear some lame ass excuse about not having enough testing time on the bike when he gets beat by RD, RV and CR...... Focus on what your being paid to do and thats win a supercross championship, quit with all the stupid crap before you end up seriously hurt..

Damn, his boss must be really pissed at him for getting distracted with cars and not staying focused on why he was hired. Stewart will be in deep shit when JGR finds out.

Oh . . . wait . . .
