As for the original question, I think James would be faster on a 125 but RC would win the Championship. Those two put on some of the best battles in MX and SX history and I am thankful for that. James was much less experienced than RC and held his own amazingly well, and I always cheered for RC to win against James, mostly because he was the veteran in the class.
People have to remember he was 19 or 20 years old trying to beat the Greatest Of All Time, not too shabby.
uhhh. I would like to encourage you to re check your facts on that one sir.

RC's records speak for themselves and establish him as the greatest. There's a difference between saying RC beat Stewart and saying he ruined him. You're the one who pulled 2005 SX out of your ass to argue RC "ruined" Stewart on 250s. Those were great races Stewart ran against RC, something to be celebrated, but somehow it's better to ridicule Stewart and not raise a cup to him for being about the only guy besides Reed who had the gumption to give beating RC a shot.
Just own up to writing something that was flat dumb ass. You're not the only guy here who's blind dislike of Stewart has lead him to make himself a fool out of himself. Or is this where you deflect and bring up the Kings again to talk crap that has nothing to do with the post?
Arguing that Stewart was faster on 125's then RC is kind of pointless. I honestly think that the top 5-10 riders in each class have the ability to win and "ride" like the wind...
It was before my time but people still talk about how fast Reynard was and he beat RC!
Tortelli...another would of could've should've....dude used to give RC fits when they were both on team honda. he also beat RC
Windham....also beat RC.
And...when rc was on 125's it was a different era IMO..the new style of riding that you see today with scrubbing and high levels of training were both brought forward by JS and RC when they both moved up (RC going to 250's, JS going pro)
Just employing your rhetorical device; avoid the topic and call the other guy names. It's a mediocre trick. You can do better I'm sure. Just slow your mouth down and let your brain catch up. No matter how long it takes.
They're responsible for bringing it back in fashion, if you will.

Why the heck can't people just celebrate how good this was and how great it was to have Stewart step up and take shots when everyone other than Reed had pretty much caved to that intimidation? The 2006-2007 races were some of the best one on one races in the history of the sport. Only an idiot would think they make RC bigger by putting down Stewart's performances against him.
Forsooth.
And salutations,

Bubba was fast, but so was vohland. RC isnt the goat for no reason. The guy is just simply the best. End of story.
