is pissing me off.

the guy won the championship on a Yamaha in 09, against a VERY comfortable Chad Reed on a very well setup Suzuki. last year he won 5 races. all this setup talk is pure speculation. has he ever came out and said "yeah my suspension sucks ass"?

so please, shut the f**k up about "James is a horrible tester", "James has a shitty bike", "He can't get a good setup"...

it's fu*king annoying.

thank you, and have a nice day Smile

I think it was very easy to see that he was not himself on that bike. Something was not right.

You're totally right - I'm betting you feel that way sometimes and I know I do. Some days you are "on" and some are just off. But a year of it; not sure.

Pointless speculation I guess, but I can really recall some of the races where he visually looks uncomfortable and awkward.

I'm still very convinced that he has a gift above and beyond anyone, ever. Yes even RV at the height of his game. I really believe that JS could put it to RV any day of the week when they are both "on". James just has something natural inside him that puts him above anyone.

I just want to see him change colors to rule out the Blue Theory and hope to see him put it to everyone, once again. Mostly because what he can do on two, isn't even remotely normal.

bike or mental?

like someone said above, he won a shit load of heat races, was usually the fastest in practice. but when it mattered he had problems. when he was pressured, he almost always had problems. when he was behind trying to catch up, he had problems. but when he ripped a holie, he did really well.

don't sound like a bike issue to me

Nah, he threw away a handful of mains where he had a comfortable lead.
Daytona by itself does not count as a handful.

The others races he crashed while leading? LA, SLC and Vegas were not "comfortable" leads by any means. RV was on his ass at LA and at SLC RV passed Stewart in the turn while he was barely on his feet picking up his bike, and Windham was close enough to run him over when he crashed at Vegas.

i agree completely. but RV has really stepped it up, speed wise i think he is equal or even a little above JS.

i just do not accept that it's bike setup or the bike. his talent is so great that he should be able to adapt, and he has everyone around him to help with setup. i'm just tired of people blaming everything on the setup.

The 09 Yamaha set up was actually good and saw much more success.

While I agree with you. I also believe that the bike had a little something to do with his decision making process moving forward for next year.

09 Yamaha there so that doesn't really prove anything.

That was before their new "revolutionary" design...
