I see what youre saying, but, do you have any idea how ridiculously hard those guys work? Also the things they put on the line, i.e. personal life, family, etc.? Mechanic more so than trainer, he could have really screwed him going into that 3rd moto. I say do as most all golfers do, 10% no matter the size of the winnings.

I don't know or care what protocol would be on this, I do however remember RC having a bonus system set up at Honda and everyone even people at the headquarters were very bummed when he left for Suzuki.

My response was only what I would do, if I had won the MEC I would for sure given both of them 15% but I tip well when I get good service. By some of the comments in this thread, I am fairly certian there are some here that don't tip at all.

Actually, I think that as a millionaire, Villopoto is supposed to pay his winnings to the US Treasury so poor people can get some of the wealth. The mechanic gets left out to dry unless he's on the dole.

I hope ryan takes the time he needs now.... he seems to just be over if at this point. wants some RnR and i for one hope he goes out and gets it enjoy yourself bud go rent a island and walk around in the buff for a week or two with just you and the wifey. Enjoy!
