Just broke out the PS2 and played Supercross Circuit (which is a regular PlayStation game) and was thinking if that game were just updated with graphics, it would be ten times better than the modern games. Basically the perfect game in my opinion would combine Supercross Circuit and MX Unleashed, then update the graphics to todays standards. I think the games are going backwards as far as gameplay and career modes are concerned. What do you guys think?

Supercross Circuit was a perfect game until MX Unleashed came out. MX Unleashed blew everything out of the water, still does.

I agree, a complete mixture of the two would be fu*king epic!

speaking of MX Unleashed, i have been playing it again... it's amazing how many different series you could do in that game and the latest games don't even offer a series. that and the free-ride was SOOOO fun on that game. i liked doing the "Big Hits" challenges where you had to hit certain lips and land in certain landings... some of them were way tough but were so bad ass to pull off the successive lines

Mx unleashed is still my favorite mx game to this day! Most of those supercross tacks actually required an element of skill to nail every rythm section correctly.

You guys are right on the money. I think if you could morph sx circuit with mx unleashed, it would be incredible.

Unleashed is the only game where I liked the freeride part. It actually had a lot of depth to the game with the trophy trucks and bi-planes and such.

I still love reflex too, alive not so much mainly because it basically has no supercross.

Could you imagine if NASCAR came out with a game that had no series or chase for the cup? Or a football game that had no playoffs? It's just plain stupid to not have a race series. I liked Supercross Circuit because you went to real SX and MX tracks, built your bike up, worked your way up to the pros, and had a track builder. I liked MX Unleashed because it had that same work your way up to the pros career mode, awesome free ride, and great tracks. That combination of the two would just make too much sense I guess. Why are the games going backwards in everything except graphics? Makes no sense to me.

Agree 100%. I'm completely baffled at these companies. Do the game designers not even play these games they make?!

It's like the creators just put a whole bunch of physics in a blender and whatever was vomited out they used. It's as though they didn't learn from previous games and started fresh every release, and sucked baaad at it.

Mx Unleashed and REFLEX are the shiiiiiiiiit. ALIVE got old way too quick, and it didn't even feel like real moto.
