What do you think?
I totally respect they took the effort to show up and to have the balls to line up next to Dungey, Roczen, etc. etc.

But these guys were kinda slow. Might be a bit dangerous at some places of the track.
The big ski jump is blind and high speed, I hope they were told to stay on the on the side of the track going down there.
Should there be some kind of speed test maybe?

On the other hand, it's the Olympics of our sport.
More countries means a bigger event.

They needed to suit this guy up and see what he could do with some horsepower.

Good for them, hopefully it motivates others in the world where MX isn't popular to start riding.

In the last photo, does he know he's wearing his top round backwards?

The time Mongolia had a team there, I was thinking I was just a phony passport short of a shot at making that team.

I have actually done that before Grinning

It does get a little scary out there watching them, but I'm glad they at least show interest and even send a team.

Ahhh! The American way - all the gear , no idea. Maybe Kuwaities(?) think like most Euro's, slow riders on blinged up bikes look like tools.

I give them Kudos. In the spirit of the event and representing their country, there are no losers.

I stood by the ski jump, and thought it was far to dangerous.
They got lapt in the second lap, great effort but to dangerous for them and
every other rider.

Wait, doesn't MXoN run a B final for teams that don't quite make the cut?

Are you telling me these guys, at a minute per lap slower than the front runners, made the A final? What the heck to you have to do to be pushed into the B group?

Enlighten, please.

Dress for success I say, and the Americans always do that. Smile So does that mean the Euros look like tools when they dress up to look the part? LOL

Do your homework mate.
Everybody is racing the qualifier in their MX1, MX2 or Open class to determine who goes to A and B.
Obviously, Kuwait didn't make the A, but raced against the best of the world in the Saturday qualifiers.
In fact, they called it a weekend after that and did not come out for the B-final on Sunday morning.

i wasnt necessarily talking about bling, but if your going to a world class race like this....at least have your suspension done and have an exhaust on your bike......plus no skidplate? did you see the amount of small rocks in that pic?

i think they had velcro on their butts, cause the guy even looks like he is sitting down in the air......

....dont get me wrong, glad they raced and i hope other countrys that didnt soon follow(hint hint canada)

We can "pom pom" all we want for them going out and representing their country but this is a dangerous sport. Having guys out there that increase that danger by a large magnitude is nothing to celebrate.

GOD FORBID, let me say that again.....GOD FORBID, one of thee guys got landed on by the race leader who didn't see them rolling a blind jump and they both ended up paralyzed or dead. Not one person would be saluting them today.
