What Dungey and RV have is way above what Grant has to offer. Brooks and MC have there eyes on faster riders with way more talent. Wilson and Barcia. Grant is no teams future star. He is just a fill in till better talent is available.

I dont know if Grant looked comfortable on the CRF 450. he didnt look good on it. he doesnt need anymore crashes. i was hoping he would ride for H&H. a stable forgiving bike is what Grant (and Canaard) needs. and flashing gang signs doesnt have anything to do with winning or losing. im pretty sure it doesnt give you arm pump.

This grant bashing seems like a lot of fun, can anyone get in on this?? So 'hatersuck' what are the chances that mc/broooks sign either wilson or barcia next year? Just because grant wears a black hat means it's time to get your hate on? I really despised dungey's boring interviews and lack of aggressive riding but he showed a ton of heart in the last few nationals and how can you not admire that? Grant shows more attitude and character and people call him out for not training and not thinking he deserves a good ride because of this? Go back to your boring lives and white picket fences as anything out of society's norm is completely unnacceptable in moto apparently.

Grant has what you can't teach, speed. Plain and simple, speed trumps over anything else because you can teach work ethic and all the image stuff, but you can't teach a top pro how to go faster. It all comes from within.

You guys question Grant's work ethic, but you guys must forget he rode for strictly bonuses last year for a chance to ride the best bike and show what he had. Obviously Grant wants to provide for his family and realizes he needs to pour his heart and soul into it like the other guys he has to beat.

Grant is no dummy and under Brooks guidance will be lethal if he can stay healthy. His dad is a GREAT guy and although I haven't met him, Josh can't be much different than his dad. I think his confidence and the fact he doesn't sugarcoat things is mistaken for arrogance and that's a shame.

Best of luck to JG33 next year, he sure is one of the easiest on the eyes to watch, incredible style and bike skills.
Spot on, I'm a big Grant fan myself and hope he gets on a good bike and runs up front for an entire year in 2012.

Grant is one of the most talented and fastest guys to ever throw a leg over a dirtbike. The ONLY thing that has held him back is crashes/injuries. He comes across as one cool cat also. One of my favorite riders and personalities.

The question I have is, has the universe gotten Josh Grant back yet or is there more to come? Tony Alessi must have been doing a lot of praying the last two years.

Grant has got to get over his school yard spats with other riders. Every time he is on the track he's fucking with someone or someone is fucking with him. He has as much talent as anyone and great style but his attention seems to be limited and he will engage in a pissing match with riders he could be lapping.

I'd love to see him reach his potential but he can't if he has any impulse to settle up with Jeff Alessi or anyone else on the track. If he ever matures to the point where other riders aren't getting in his head, he may very well win another championship or two.

According to BobbyM, Grant is a SX championship contender.

Shorty is going to the Brooks team. Right? And I heard Reedy is picking up Byrne?

Excellent point. I can see a lot of validity in that statement. He sure does seem to have a lot of enemies.

I met Josh at an industry function over the summer and he came off as a really nice, down to earth dude.

I wish him well wherever he rides next season. I think as fans we should all hope for him to land a good ride and stay healthy so we can enjoy watching him ride and bring some more competition to the races.

He is quite possibly the most consistent rider this sport has ever seen.
