Mad props to Reed on the year he's had, especially considering how about a year ago most of the people on vitalmx couldn't stand the guy. On the other hand he makes more money in 6 months than you and I will in our entire lives, he gets to do something for a living that the rest of us fantasize about and he's damn good at it. Also, he gets to play with his kid every day and sleep with his super hot wife Ellie every night! I don't feel bad for him, I'm fucking jealous as hell!! It's all about perspective. Wink

The second one was caused by a first turn crash, that was completely ignored by the commentators because they thought it was the parade lap. Meanwhile, Reed and at least one other guy were picking themselves and their bikes up out of the sand/mud. Sad

I hope Reed can still finish top 3 in the championship....I know he will not give up and who knows what could happen. Theoretically, he could still win the championship. Nonetheless, the exposure and fan support he has earned this season has been invaluable. I used to dislike him (sorry Reed) but now he is one my favorite racers.

Well, "dislike" is too strong of a word. I truly dislike J-law. LMAO

it will be interesting to see what happens sponsor wise for next year. I hope he can land a good sponsor to pay for his racing and at least a decent salary.

Reed is a true warrior that took the chance and started the season out spending his own money to race.

The guy is all moto.

A very close 2nd in sx with 2 wins and a (unfortunate but likely) 3rd in mx with 4 overalls so far, in the first year of a team thats 5 minutes old! That is a great year and something to be proud of!!!

I have to add, he's got a fantastic wife to back him on this entire deal . It's worked out for them both, but can you imagine at the beginning of the season, going to your wife and saying that you want to spend your own money to put on a top tier race team?

She's a keeper.

I don't think there are meds to help you overcome being a complete and utter cock head!

Feel gutted for Chad too. I hope he can finish off the season the way he started from here on out and get some momentum and confidence back heading into the monster cup and sx.
Good luck with everthing Chad Smile

LOL. I don't feel bad that he makes way more money and has a smokin hot wife. I feel bad that it all slipped away today due to unfortunate events.

Reed gave up after he lost the points lead. I would like to know what the problem was in the second moto because I think he shut it down because he did not want to be out there.

If Reed is all moto then I am not sure what Dungey would be called after that second moto yesterday.

IMO, Ryan will win this outdoor title.

I like Reed , But have to agree with you . I was there and it looked like he shut it down...Metcalf rode like he had nothing to lose Reed looked like he cashed it in because he had nothing to gain. Again not sure what happened to bike but thats what it looked like live.

Yeah, I feel bad for Reedy. I was pullin for him and wanted him to win the title. He was on his way to extending his points lead and put a stranglehold on the series until his Millville crash. From then it just hasnt been the same Reedy Sad

The question is , Will he spend his own money next year to have a team ?

I just think back on the pass he made on RV2 a few turns before his skyshot.. he was aggressive and HOT as HELL. So much confidence, he would have been in this thing till the very end if it weren't for the bad luck & crash.

I agree with you about his tank running dry.

At the MotoGP in Indy with some of my
Team22 & thought I'd write in.
1st not here to change or challenge anyone's
view or opinion.
2nd, what happened is what happened,
& what some think they know they don't .
You cant get away from opinions, as everyone
has 1.
At 22 we appreciate it all, good & bad.

I expect we'll see 110% from Speedy and team 22 the remaining rounds. He may have lost some points but he hasn't been beaten.

Everything that has a beginning has an end. That ain't going to happen just yet with Reed. He will be top 3 next weekend. For the 13,794th time.
