Sleeping is nearly impossible. I have to sleep sitting up in a chair. I can't lay down at all in any position.
We do have a "World Series" in baseball after all.

- I broke my left femur back in April, just went back to work about a month ago. But my 1 yr old daughter just started walking the week before my crash.... so I got to spend 3.5 months at home playing everyday !!!

This pain is still terrible. Last night, I let my big dog Jaws into the house and he got all hyper like he usually does. However, I soon realized that I am unable to yell or use my commanding voice to put him check. So, his hyperactivity level kept escalating. Then, seeing me gimp and shuffle around the house while moaning in pain made him think we were "playing".
He was in 3rd pinned (at least) as he hit my legs, causing me to almost fall down, which subsequently caused Defcon Level 6 pain to shoot through my back. This heretofore unbeknownst pain level then caused me to literally start cryin and sobbing. The crying was fine but with every sob of my body, the pain increased.
Defcon Level 7....more sobbing....Defcon Level 8....more sobbing and Jaws wagging his tail and growing propionately more playful as the pain level increased. Eventually, the sheer ludacrosity of the amount of pain I was feeling, combined with Jaws' ever-escalating playfulness rating caused me to intermittently laugh and sob, which only escalated the pain even more. Eventually, I hit Defcon Level 12 of the pain scale before finally being able to shuffle to the back door like Ozzy in a thorazine fog to make the dogs go outside. It took me about 10 minutes to lower my pain level down to anything resembling even slightly tolerable.
Note to self: stop crashing.
But I'm gonna try Sandhill this Fri for a few hours !!
