IGNORANCE ....Grinning ......haha ,some of you guys are ignorant .............theres an old saying in racing ''ITS ONLY CHEATING WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT''..............hard work ,yeah right ,any of you guys who don't think pc or cosworth has pushed and opened the envelope are probably the same guys who lost thousands investing in the stock market .
'' CHEATERS '',prosper in the ama ,look at Carmichael with the illegal gas debacle ,yep no penalty ............do you dummies really think the other top guys are not cheating as well...lol.......conspiracy theory hahahaha .
Someone mentioned HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS .lol yeah they've never been caught cheating ..........what at least once a year .Blush .......................or should NASCAR just call this illegally ''working harder'' ..................cheating and racing go hand in hand always have always will ...hence the ''RULE BOOK ''.........................''.MEDIOCRE GUYS'' are the ones who think excellence is cheating ...................Tongue ................When motox becomes as big as NASCAR then we'll see more streamlined rules against cheating ,but as of now ,nobody wants to be the bad guy and call a cheater a cheater.
Imagine a PC bike being suspected and found cheating .............the public outcry would be laughable and all the titles would become tainted
.NASCAR gives you gas ,restrictor plates spoilers and a bunch of other parts to control the amount of cheating in certain areas .In order for the nats to get bigger the top guys got to dispell the buddy system and start leveling the playing field with fuel ,pipes, weight etc.
When a full gate is not achieved its not because there are no'' hard workers'' out there its about money and the ability to compete with others amount of it, and your own lack of Sick .

If mx sports handed out ,suspension ,motors ,fuel and tires before the races the playing field would be shuffled quite a bit .We would see more of a rider race than a bike competition .But as long as the big four are running the show they will continue to master the cheating gameTongue
Spot on....dude

OK, once again for all the fucktards that cannot read. I did not say that PC was cheating (reread my original post), I said that they were so good that they were basically a cheater team. If you don't get the nuances of that post then I may as well argue with a brick wall.

Again, if we are going to have a production rule, it should be a real production rule. Otherwise, get rid of the rule and go straight works bike that will isolate and disadvantage the little guys even more.

It strikes me funny as hell how everyone will scream and cheer for a privateer in here but when that is at the expense of your favorite team you all get your panties in a bunch about it.

"I didn't say PC's cheating, I said they're a cheater team . . . can't you fucktards keep it straight?"

What they need to do is put a pull price on any bike in the class raced. That means if you raced that moto or motos you can buy anyones bike you raced against for a set price. This has been done in many motor sports i have been involved in and keeps the players from spending that crazey money on a bike/car.

If the big companies want to sale bikes there is nothing more apealling than a race ready out the door bike. That's why i'm pulling for the pumpkin to dominate within the next 5 years.
They had a claiming rule in up until around 1980 when they were running full-on factory works bikes. Well a privateer racer claimed a factory Honda for a few thousadnd dollars. Rule lasted maybe two weeks afterwards when the Japanese raised hell about it and the AMA let 'em have their way. I'll bet if it were KTM winning week end and week out there would be talk of some rule change to limit their advantage like the Japanese made the AMA do in road racing years ago to squash Ducati's advancement. This also contributed to the demise of H-D's superbike effort also in my opinion.

The 250s are supposed to be a feeder class so the cost to compete in it should be reduced greatly.

$20K motors that last 1 race isn't good for the sport.

IF there is really aproduction rule, why is it that the only thing stock on the top team bikes is the name??
The frame and sub frame are 100% stock............and motor displacment is regulated and just because Mitch is the master with a porting tool and your Daddy...

#4. Read the AMA rulebook more carefully on what is allowed with these components.
Yup Damn kids!

You do realize Mitch builds the engines for the majority of his top competition? Pro Circuit wins because they work harder than everyone else.
They do have a great thing going, best riders and best equipment/management but do you really think that the motors he builds for the other teams are comparable? I know for a fact that a certain package he was putting together for a certain X rider of his, was getting de-tuned when his boys were getting outrun week in week out. I guess there was a reason mitch said to send back the motors "untouched". To beat it all, this guy won a few championships for the team not so long ago.

I admire what he has done with the sport, but since I found that out, uncle donnie will be building all my pipes from now on!!!

I too know for a fact that rider #3, or I mean rider X was getting cheated. I still have the head in my garage with both the intake and exhaust seats that have a 3 mile wide contact patch from the valves, great customer work for a guy who everyone says plays by the rules!! Or the time we headed down to PC after Washougal to dyno that boat anchor of a motor he was trying to ride. Kind of odd when the season started with a 42hp bike suddenly is @ 36hp as measured on PCs dyno!! You can all kiss his ass all you want but your clueless. Who was it that replaced #3 that year for des nations, oh thats right, Ivan Tedesco. This industry is way to fake for me, glad i got out of it. Ill keep plowing my field in MI.

Just an FYI for all the rocket surgeons in this thread...

They do tear down 250s as well, and I'm pretty sure they got a blue one (DNA Shred Stix / Star Racing / Yamaha), a green one (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki and a privateer bike), and a pair of red ones (GEICO Honda and another privateer) at Unadilla. If there had been problems, we would have heard about it by now.

Are Pro Circuit bikes so much better that they are basically a Cheater Team? Seems to me that every year, they are at the top of the podium no matter who is riding for them.

We need a real Production Rule in Motocross. The imbalance between the big money teams/bikes and lower tier team is so big that it take crashing out for anyone else to win against them.
STFU and quit crying like bitch . I was in the navy blah blah blah . I served my country blah blah blah .
