Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Race the 2012 US Supercross/Motocross series under their own team with a Canadian sponsor.
Get picked up by a satellite/privateer team (limited Supercross experience) could hurt them.
Race the complete 2012 British Supercross championship, Promoter ( Future West ) Jamie is Canadian.
Rockstar Energy Drink MX Nationals, Red Bull Nationals, Maxxis British Motocross Championship, etc...
Not only these 3 riders should take a stand, all the Canadian riders should support them as a team (MXON)
and as a whole to support one another for changes to CMRC in 2012,
Also... CMRC should look into adding a round to their series in Montana, Its the half way point from the
West rounds, to the East, Cut the long drive between the two, More entries from US riders,
Give the Pro riders in the upper mid-west a chance to experience racing in a national Motocross series,
More exsposure/interest for the series.
What baffles me is that New Zealand, a small island nation of 4 million located thousands of miles from Europe and the US can produce top calibre riders like Townley and Cody Cooper and we can't even get a guy into the top 20 (or even try). This is not to mention Australia, which also has 10 million less people than Canada.
Maybe we better stick to hockey (wait! we can't even win the Stanley cup). Check that, maybe we better stick to curling.

How's their speed - any fast riders in Canada?
A real shame they can't build a track and practice enough and get organized enough to send a time to the MX0N.
So are there any fast riders in Canada - what kind of motorcycles do they ride (fixed with studs?)?
I know.. it will never happen, but it would be nice
It would cause a big stir but as most in this thread, and most Canadians, would agree that it would be a great stepping stone forward.
For MX sports they promote the series and a (maybe more) race. Ok little conflict of interest between the 2 but with good people I don't think it cause problem.
Again if you are pay or not, if you are in conflict of interest or not doesn't really mather. If you care about the sport you will make things work and if you only care about your personnal interest the sport will suffer. People are so into finding conspiracy theory everywhere that they can't make difference between good and bad people.
Disgraceful.
There are Moto-Folk up in Ft. Mc Murray...
Take your business elsewhere. There are strong local racing organizations creeping up all across the country. Slowly, people are getting the message - the CMRC has NOTHING to offer a local racing association. All they do is siphon profits and increase the costs of racing with their exorbitant fees and AMA Pro copied rulebook.
They ran a nice little National series there for awhile. Every rider in the country followed it. Good TV, cool tracks, strong teams. But I feel that the writing could be on the wall for the Nationals too. They need to put some cash back in the riders pockets. A whopping thousand bucks to win a 450 National. They'd do well to remember their own history - guys switched from the CMA because they wanted to get paid.
Pit Row
Who's their fastest rider / riders?
Can they compete with the rest of th world?
There is so much more I can say, but if I go off I may end up requiring medical attention, so I'll stop now.
Realistically they are head and shoulders above the other teams in Canada with experience and money and therefore get the talent. The tight reign they put on the riders for "extra" events is what hurts, the fact they will not enter events when they think they can't win, or will not attempt anything with less than a complete effort is a downfall.
I don't think they are the Mitch Payton of Canada, they just start with the best talent and biggest budgets and keep it going, they don't mold riders, they buy them. If Colt rode for someone else, he would still win, and he may be able to race outside of Canada.
now back to my point, Blackfoot for some reason lately will never commit to MxdN but seems to string things along and cause turmoil. If the team doesn't want to go, thats fine, but let the riders. Sell Team Canada the race bikes at the end of the cdn nats and let CMA look after the logistics. Team Canada can then sell off the bikes to fans after the race to recoup some money. Take the stickers off the bikes and not be involved, just let the riders represent. If the bullshit on no TV coverage is true, and the CMRC/CMA fighting, how will stally televise an event without showing the fastest guys? (today we will interview 5th overall on the podium). Let the riders that want to, represent.
Plain and simple let the fastest guys go, announce at the first of the year that the fastest guys will be going and begin looking for funding. none of this trying to throw shit together at the last minutes with whoever is allowed and hoping that T-shirts cover the bill
Can't argue with the safe tracks thing although I will say I'd choose Grunthal over Finley, Brooks etc anyday.
Again I agree with the sentiment of your post and I personally feel the MMA was better off when we split from the CMRC just wanted to point out some inaccuracies in your post.
