Didn't some privateer just get denied the chance to race a couple weeks ago because he was on a 2012?

No he did not. It was Mike Horban at Washougal. His bike showed up late and he was already registered on his YZ250 and was not sure if he could change it and run his 450 instead. He also stated that he had alot of people behind him to run the 2 stroke and he did not want to let them down.

The real question is. . . Is RV2 and JW32 use launch control mode?

They haven't been having reliability problems in Europe unless you count their riders. Silly

I am sure this isn't the first time they are going to be straddling a 2012. My guess is the reason they are busting them out is because they are the better bike....but that's just me

Factory guys can do whatever they want.....just like IF Dungey rides for KTM he will have a fuel injected 450.....but nobody else will.....

Yeah because that POS he's been riding is the reason Dunge has been spanking his ass. Worked well enough for supercross

If it were me I wouldn't switch to a new bike in the middle of a heated championship chase. I guess it did work for Langston in 07 though so we'll see how it works out for him.

RV is clearly the new Pourcel, I expect a move to Europe in 2-3 weeks, Canada a month after that.
