Just my opinion. The gp cheerleaders won't like it of course... I wake up super early Sunday mornings to watch these races.. and I have been disappointed watching LEOK on a TM lead a race for 15 minutes. Lommel was excellent so going from that to this is almost insulting. Thank god it rained.. if it hadn't it would have been a freeway. When I mean FLAT I mean no ruts or berms.. there's plenty of elevation.

Great ride for Pourcel. Think that's his best finish on a 450 this year in both series. I agree that was a pretty lame move by Roczen at the end of moto1, but sometimes adrenaline/tempers get the best of you. I really like the Locket track.

Can't wait til Unadilla next weekend!

All season Roczen seems to be overly bothered by lappers. It really seems to get to him. Several times he has taken the time after a race to tell them to stay clear. This time he slugs Petrov after the race?
He must be under a lot of pressure with Herlings challenging him and with the move to USA next year. Most of the time he seems so mature that it's easy forget how young he really is. But still, that tantrum made him look a bit ridiculous.

its your opinion....and it show the type of fan you are.........so go back to sleep ...........and even on ama outdoors you should sleep a bit this year, there are 3 guys going at it and its dificult to predict which will win, maybe next year you will have another of those undefeded seasons again for you to thrive on..............
and btw, the disappointing leok on a tm got 5-8 for 6º overall last week in your so excellent lommel.....so if you haven't notice...!!!!!!!!!!

good thing desalle is race fit again, he will put up a fight til the end...... and good on pourcel, made a lot of people swallow a few frogs, including myself......
great race from homeboy rui, finally the podium..!!!! he's not one of the greats, but he works his ass of to get there and its starting to pay......

Why in the world is it 'disappointing' to watch Leok lead a race on a TM? Leok is VERY good rider and had every right to lead that second race for as long as he did. Furthermore it was fantastic for TM, a manufacturer who has come on leaps and bounds in recent years and they thoroughly deserve the recognition.

Why anyone would wish for the same rider/riders to lead every lap of every race is beyond me. When Carmichael dominated every National & Everts every GP it used to bore me to tears. Its almost boring again now that you can almost guarantee Cairoli and Roczen win most GPs and the top three of each class is pretty much guaranteed at every National.

One other thing, you say 'Even Glen Helen is bizarre and not nearly as rough now that it meets the GP prep standards'. What prep standards do you mean exactly? Because only the start straight is ever graded at a GP (unless some exceptionally dangerous ruts have formed on a specific jump).

Rui has improved ALOT in the last few weeks!

Im really pleased for him because it looked as though he was struggling for most of the season. Its great to see him grow in confidence and to see Honda's back at the sharp end again

The track this week was one lined, granted. But it certainly wasn't smooth, nor was it as rough as some of the other tracks either. Keep in mind that bar Leirop, there's probably very few tracks out there that are going to get like Lommel - for obvious reasons i.e the low resistance of deep sand.

You do get every type of condition on the GP calender but generally, there's very little grading or track preparation toward making things smooth and easy. If anything, I'd say it's the opposite - the National circuits mostly aren't as technical as they were 10 years ago. It's also worth remembering that you will be losing a certain amount of detail through watching the races online. You never really get a true representation of how rough a track is behind a computer screen.

Yeah, well maybe he is pissed at the end of the race knowing that Valentin from KTM is going to be running up for a big hug. That would drive me nuts.

A bunch of name calling. No debates.. no examples of rough tracks that aren't sand. You know what that means? I'm right. Thanks.

I'll debate you..... GP's are brutal. That tracks get much more traffic over two days than at a National they're usually left alone for the whole weekend.........

What a big baby. Fckin pathetic. One of the few things I used to dislike about Everts was how he'd loose his cool at backmarkers. Its embarrassing to watch all that squealing and arm waving. Backmarkers are just one of the things these guys have to be good at dealing with its part of the sport for all of them.

The Nationals and the World Championships are beyond comparison. They are 2 different sports. Even more different than a US sx track vs a US outdoor track. As different as comparing RC to Jlaw. Both are fucken killer to follow for completley different reasons. The GP tracks are much more diverse over the course of a season. Brutal in different ways. Why choose? It's like having the blonde and the brunette at the same time. You fucken nuts or gay?

In the heat of the moment, you don't think straight. I know I'd be frustrated as hell if someone was holding me up and thought 2nd place was right behind me.

I understand that completely and he's only young, but there's no doubt about it it looks really lame. He needs to learn that real quick. The way Everts used to carry on about backmarkers used to make me cringe I hope Kenny doesn't make a habit of it.
