It wasn't that bad.

Geiger crashed probably 5 times and still got 2nd. She looked like she was sliding into home plate on the start going headfirst on her belly down the start hill.

Bash was lucky to not get a neck injury sliding down that bank and landing head first.

I wonder how many of the posters criticising have ever tried Endurocross Smile , it's not that easy.

Sure they weren't the fastest, who is on those courses, but there's only one way to get better & that's practise & exposure, my money is they'll go home practise their butts off & do better next time around.

There's a pretty handy rider here in NZ who's keen for next year & she'd put the cat amoungst the pigeons I reckon.

the onner was kinda cute...

oh wait...

Im not criticizing the women's efforts at all, but putting them on that track was simply a dumb idea.

What is wrong with this is only one girl could ride the whole track and not take alternate lines.

Some girl that rides called me pathetic because I compared it to the Miss America talent contest.

Nothing wrong with "Endurocross" but it's not much of an extreme sport. Doesn't matter if it the guy's or the girls, it doesn't belong in the X games.

Are you serious? Yeah the women were hard to take, but Enduro X is as extreme as it gets and fits right into the X games model, imo... Those guys have bike skills that the ramp jumping bro's could only dream to acquire

Typical Vital expert responses. I have raced these endurocross races and they are no joke. I've qualified for supercross night programs and top 40 in the outdoor nationals in the last 5 years so I have some bike skills, and those tracks chew me up and spit me right back out, and the X games course looked like it even had a couple extra techinical sections. I would get a kick out of watching you guys try to spin a lap around one of those tracks and watching those girls lap you time and time again.

I have to respectfully disagree. Nothing EXTREME about endurocross. They aren't going to get their asses handed to them if they don't get across the rocks, or the precast culverts.

I didn't say that it was a joke. I said that it wasn't an EXTREME sport.

Big difference here pal.

It's boring. End of story, and I doubt that it returns next year.

BTW: I didn't say that it isn't tough. I said that it was boring.
