anyone else feel that the fans voating on best whip is nothing but a popularity contest... now way in hell did twitch beat out Potter or McNeil for best whip.. personally, i think he had the worst of the bunch. Hanny in my opi ion was whippin it harder then Twitch. i like Twitch and all but come on!!!! no way he won that contest.. shits nothin but a teenage popularity contest if you ask me. rant over!!!!

Yea its pretty damn lame. Mc kept saying "Oh man twitches whips are sick" I was like wtf? I thought Hanny was more creative than him. All the little tittyballers wanna vote for their favorite riders.

It kind of seems like a tool to keep track of how many people are really interested in moto... Twitch is sick, but potter and the two on the tiddlers were on another level.

I think most of all the camera angles were terrible. There were very few shots that you could even get the right angle to see the whip in full.

i said to my baby mamma the moment the contest started.. said its gonna be a high school popularity contest. Twitch will win, Potter second and i put the french kid 3rd.. 2 outta 3 aint bad..

she dont watch much freestyle stuff. she;s a mx junkie like me, but even she said the dude Potter was by far better and cooler then the rest of the guys out there..

well, maybe we should of voted. haha

it was apparent that no one who text voted has ridden a dirtbike cause Stenberg shouldn't have won at all, or even podiumed, should have been Mcneil, Pages, then Potter. I liked pages but I liked how Mcneil threw in some variations and the lookback whip was sick

maaan that whole event was a joke..i was looking forward to seeing it all day. first disappointment, destin cantrell wasn't invited, wtf?? second, the camera angles SUCKED and missed a bunch of whips...we dont care about the stupid ramp and the riders after they did the whip, 3rd, you're right it is a popularity contest.

The camera angles were garbage, couldn't even tell what was happening. I wasnt that impressed with potter, he was the only won that crashed, and he was doing the barcia wfo from take off to almost landing, with thr clutch in of course. I though hanny looked a little lost out there.

The two dudes on smokers were handin' it to all of them, and it has nothing to do with the fact they were on smokers.

Totally agree it was crap. McNeil had that. They showed a rear camera angle replay of him at the end (when it was probably too late to vote that blew em all away) The fact the camera angles suck, you need to look at your ph and miss half of it to vote and that its over before they could even get the votes in fairly! It really needs to be judged but they probably make some dough with the texting thing.

Hansen's whips, I don't know the proper name for them - where he would start off the opposite direction - were KILLER.

Nate Adams had some traditional style whips as well. He's reminded me like some of Windham's whips.

Yea I voted for Mcneil. The one whip he did where he looked backwards was ridiculous. That was one of the lamest events the X-games has hosted because of the weak voting. It's a shame it was nothing but a popularity contest cause Potter, Mcneil, and Pages were getting backwards and upside down. None of Twitch's whips stand out but there are at least 3 whips done from TP, JM, and Pages that are gonna be burned in my mind till they hold this event next year. And I dont even know why Hansen was in the contest. His were laughable and C-rider compared to the 3 mentioned above.

McNeil clearly got raped. He won it in my eyes. But then again, I didn't even vote (I DVR'd it), so I can't really complain.
