Both have been good but I prefer supercross. I have a short attention span and generally within the first 20 minutes of a moto the field is kinda spread out

Supercross is better on TV. As far as attending I'd go with MX. So they tie.

Supercross, easier to watch, better for Tv, spectating, money, etc. And after this season, SX is mind-blowing when it comes to predictability.

Motocross. But I've never been to a supercross race so I'm biased. Next year I'm going!

I think I'm biased because I've been to TOO MANY Supercross races! Seriously, it's old and tired... and I don't think the opening ceremonies have changed one bit in the past 10 years, if not longer.

EDIT: Not saying you shouldn't go btw. For a first timer (hell even a few races) it's good fun!

The average weekend enthusiast can race motocross. The Average Joe doesn't have the abilities to race supercross.

Both are part of our sport, and one will never survive with out the other.

Well all things equal (on a professional level), motocross is much more demanding.

Two different sports based on a similar premise.

Personally, I find SX spectacular, but a poor replacement for the outdoors.

I love both, but MX wins this one by a big big margin.

This is not which is better it's about which you like or prefer. They both are important to all of us .

These things go hand in hand. You had to expect people to start discussing why they prefer one over the other.

.... I don't want it to turn into a fight either though haha.

I prefer Motocross, but I like to see the guys get into a rhythm in Supercross. I can't decide, they're both good in their own way. Tough one.

I love them both equally. In fact I would like to see a outdoor supercross without the limitations of the stadiums/layout/size. 200ft table tops, 1 mile long whoop section. bowl corners, etc

Yeah, that would be cool, kind of like the Oklahoma City Supercross used to be (circa early '90s)
