Behind The Scenes Red Bud 2011
Two things:
1) If you want to see a couple dozen of cool photos click it. Hope you enjoy them...those Morphsuits trip me out.
2) If you're going to bag on me for posting a link to Motonews please don't click and move to another thread. Thank you.

Appreciate the positive feedback and I will pass this on to Brad Hause who shot the pictures. Thanks!
Worried that the rabble over here would give you crap?
Maybe because of this post?
I'm proud of everyone that posts on Motonews these days due to the level of civility even when we disagree on issues. We don't have anywhere near the volume of posts that Vital does but we also aren't calling each other names on a daily basis that is the norm on Vital.
For the record I post on Vital from time to time as I know many of you do as well. I generally do a quick scan for safety, sound, and old school threads and do my best to avoid the rest. BTW I also got to trade some posts with Nerd yesterday in non moto but just to show you can teach an old dog new tricks limited my responses to two posts then exited stage left before I got mired down in an endless argument with him comparing Pastrana's Corvette accident to James' arrest last week.
In closing I've read numerous swipes at Motonews on Vital but always just chuckle when I come across them. Not sure why some have such a penchant for taking shots at the "country club" but if it makes them feel better then so be it.
I hope this post isn't misinterpreted as a swipe at Vital since my intention with this post is more of an observation than anything else. For sure there are some cool dudes at Vital and I enjoy reading their posts. The rest not so much.........
Your friend does take some nice pics but he should post them over here on Vital where they are going to get some better hits.....
Sincerely
"The Rabble"
Thanks for the link Rock, and thanks to Brad for shooting them.
That post hit a nerve with some people so they turned it around and said I was bashing Vital. They ignored:

The posts I don't enjoy reading are the ones with name calling. Shoot me or call me names if you like for having this opinion but I'm not down with it. The guys who are down with the name calling more power to them and knock yourselves out....it's a free country.
Every time I've ever written anything about GuyB's work I give him the props he deserves and as recent as two weeks ago put up a link to his USGP article that I had missed the first time. I still haven't had time to check out his Red Bud coverage or his piece on the October Monster Race but i will find the time this week.
I will pass on your compliment to Brad and undoubtedly the hits would be way larger on Vital but Brad wanted his shots posted on Motonews due to the larger picture size and page format the site provides.
Look forward to more of your feedback and hope you have a good week.
Your friend's shots definitley look good.
Are you going to be at Southwick this year?
I'd love to actually meet and BS a little in person, I'm sure the moto would conquer all.
Maybe i am missing something, but he is just sitting on his bike..right?
The notion that somehow your criticism of this site isn't is a bunchabaloney, like telling someone "you're an asshole, but don't take that personally." You've earned a fair dose of good natured ribbing any time you show up here Rock.
jmdmx-It's all good bro and for sure it would be good to meet in person. East coast National decision is almost made.....Unadilla in 09...Southwick 10......wouldn't mind going to Steel City but it is further away from Bristol Core's HQ and these races come at the end of my yearly trips to spend time on site.
Speaking of Bristol Core I'm not sure if you guys have been catching the Bristol Core Local Hero updates or not but Morgan's stepped up to help the first non qualifying privateer at the Nationals with $275 each week alternating between the two classes. He spent two and a half years doing track support at all the SX and MX in the late 90s and knows first hand the sacrifices these young warriors make.
oscottie-I'm not a professional photographer (if you've seen my shots that is readily apparent LOL) but I believe the term is composition and that shot IMO has good composition I love the seeing the fans, the parking lot and the field and trees in the background with Dungey looking like he is processing a decision about a line he'll be taking in the race.
