Photoshop (PS3) Question - Draw an Arrow....

I need to "point" to certain things in a photo and comment....maybe like a cartoon caption....

What is a simple way to draw an arrow and comment quickly?

PicSay, on my phone, has a simple balloon caption note.....any ideas for something really fast and simple.

Quickest way? Steal one from google images. Paste it into PS and then use the marquee selection tool to get rid of the excess stuff around the arrow.

Ctrl + T to rotate it.

You will probably have to cut the surroundings from the arrow pic itself, thats pretty easy, highlight it then crop in PS.

Thanks guys. I was trying to do this within ps3.....without importing other images.....and using the selection tool. I will try your ideas though.

Hit "u" key for the shapes tool. These are vector-(like) paths. Then pick "custom shape". Then pick your shape. You can load a whole bunch of stock shapes that include things such as arrows and thought bubbles.

Once you put down a shape, use the "a" key to bring up the shape selection grabber to modify, transform (ctrl+t), fill (right click, fill) or stroke (right click, stroke) your custom shape.

Hey thanks for the help....I think I found what I was looking for......

line with an arrow at the end.. like 2 secs.......never used the line before in PS
