MX5471, I've read enough posts on here in the last week regarding CP's situation, that suggest at least 50% of the guys posting in CP related threads as having lower IQ's than what you perceive the pro racers to have....

Americas loss our gain if you ask me, CP and AC had some epic battles and rivalry back in the mx2 class. Nice to see some serious talent coming back to the GP scene, Searle, Anstie, Townley, Pourcel. A fit and healthy BT and CP will make an even stacked mx1 more interesting, 10 potential GP winners every race. Personally i can't wait.

Pourcel made a smart choice, he stood no chance against, Villopoto, Reed, Dungey, Alessi or a soon to ruturn Canard.
And then the guys like Millsaps, Grant etc...I could see CP getting 3rds in the GPs and distant 5ths at best here in the US. Its a no brainer...pourcel spent 2 weekends here in the 450 class learning that he should go home lol!

Totally. Feels like some people on Vital have this clairvoyance thing going, that team owners like Payton etc are lacking. Some even predicted Pourcel and MCY to fail, and "KNEW" this would happen. Impressive shit.

Come to think of it, It's actually pretty boring, now there's no point in watching the GPs at all? We already know part of the results?

If any of us "normal" people had issues with the eqipment we work with or our bodies being fucked up,how would your boss react if you just didn't show up for work?Not well,I'm guessin.In a nutshell,that's what CP did,and lost his job.That's how it works in the USA and anywhere else in the world,IMO.

I think you underestimate Jamma and maybe missing the point. No one knows where CP would end up, still people make disadvantageous assumptions to discredit, and in some strange way these are being considered as truths by others. so after running at the top (albeit for a short period in each race) and blowing past the top guys he couldn't have cut it? how absurd. If he had have stuck it I am sure he would have been top end all season - the guy can ride, and ride fast, you dont push Canaard and Dungey year to year to the very edge of a title and then just learn you aint fast enough. Come on guys please revive your memory banks, it didn't work out for him granted and that may be for a plethora of reasons none of which we actually and factually can talk about. He has left the states so you should be happy, to my mind and this comment is based on the racing so far this year

Its frances home des nations- and (id theyre all fit) theyve got christophe pourcel, marvin musquin, steven frossard, gautier paulin and seb pourcel to choose from- be a VERY strong team! I'd pick france for the win this year- next year it could be anyones! belgium and holland will do well though at lommel!

USA will win this year, and probably next year. Why ? Because they're usually the only team able to line 3 very good riders. And those riders would kill themselves for the country, which French riders aren't willing to do... National pride is a concept that doesn't really exists in France.

USA as a country has more riders than Europe in total, at least if you count dirt bike sales. So one needs to assume US will manage to spit out better riders than one single country. USA not winning would be big news.

In Lommel I can see Belgium giving them a run for the spot. I Think Desalle, De Dycker and Van Horebeek/Roelants is hard to beat.
Cairoli, DP19 and Lupino can do okay.
Herlings, Coldenhoff, De Reuver,
Roczen, Nagl, Schiffer
Frossard, Paulin, Pourcel/Boog

I think it will be exciting in both France and Lommel. It's a new race every year and just because they won the last years it's not impoosible to beat them. Just look in AMA, Reed and Rattray in first place on typically american tracks. Lommel isn't a typical ama track, it's almost like another discipline...
