The anonimity gives people a sense of non responsibility. They can say whatever thay want with no consequences. Also we as a society have become very selfish and self absorbed. If you note most threads start off positive then someone comes in and injects some sarcasm then it is down hill from there. Just my 2cents.

I think is goes much further than just moto....people feel the need to complain about everything now. I think it makes them feel important. Gone are the days when you could really say what you feel without someone being "offended" and wanting you to get fired for it. Where in the constitution does it say you have a "Right Not to be offended" It doesn't....if something bothers you move along, change the channel or just don't listen.....enough said Thank you for listening (or not listening) to my rant. Scott does lots of blog entries on his profile (good stuff, too, BTW), and that's one area on the site where you can lay out an opinion, and people actually can't respond. Smile

I haven't been posting too much since the change to Vital (but I still read everyday) Waiting for the place to sort itself out. A lot of us have been together (online) for years and I still dig MD and bench racing.

I just started posting just awhile ago since I haven't been as active but I have watched MD since I joined. I have noticed a change from Moto Related to Drama over the last year approximately. Seems it has become more name calling and petty also.

Thats great. To bad DFW is not left hand coastal. It has quite a bit to offer, I would miss the coast too much. Are the drives easy or traffic jammed? Again that track has some amazing texture to the soil. It is so much fun to ride when you can lay it over and stick. Some of the areas and tracks we have here are good when groomed but when they get hard pack it really make you have throttle control.

Traffic is pretty good as long as you avoid the typical rush hour stuff in the morning and evening. Fort Worth traffic is lighter than Dallas.

We are pretty lucky to have a lot of tracks with great dirt. This wouldn't be possible for this old geezer without the good stuff.

One of our new tracks has some pretty good dirt now, Milestone. When you get there and it is groomed it is really fun. It is built in the over flow area of the Santa Ana river. As a kid in 69 I saw the river there full up and over the new then river banks that had just been built. I wonder how close or if the area was under water that time. M yfather took us to see the river hitting the bottom of the new over pass. Cool thing is that it is a working horse ranch also. Kinda proves they can get along.

The owner of River Valley lets the neighbor graze his cattle on the track. Helps with the mowing. There are horses within a couple 100 feet of the track and they don't mind the bikes either.
