RV found Dungey's playbook, imo. Last week, he didn't have it and took a third. How many 2nd and 3rds did Dunge take in SX and was still there at the end?

I'm thinking he rides solid this weekend and takes a win if he's feeling it, but, will settle again if he's not. Once he's 100% as the season moves on, it's going to get really interesting. JMO.

Of all the riders lining up this weekend i would pick RV as the most dangerous man on the planet. I simply do not think he will ride for points being safe while waiting for Reed to implode like last year. Reed is the man to beat this Saturday but RD, RV and others may not agree!

Who do you guys think is this weeks "danger man"?
I'm with you. I think Hangtown can be like bizarro MX as far as a barometer for the remaining rounds.

2010-Tomac wins overall, many of us think he is the man to beat. Reed wins overall, he looks like the man to beat. Dungey goes 10-6, looks like he has no shot. Alessi holeshots on the 350 and wins a moto? (only time he does either all season)

I think RV had several issues at Hangtown, speed not one (fast lap both motos). I also don't think he is out of shape. I think he just wasn't comfortable with the track and backed it down once he realized he wasn't going to beat those two. He had plenty of room on 3rd. I think the flow of Freestone will suit him much more, and of course being rid of the illness. It should be good.

guys... what if he's a just wearing a bigger jersey.. you gotta remember he's not a big dude... and once he saw how far out everyone was, and being sick and all, the smart thing for him to do was ride around with a podium and not risk getting hurt by going all out to chase down an extra point or two in the first race of the season

I didn't say anything about baker...and yes they mentioned he was sick earliergin the week but I think that was about the extent of it...I don't know if I pissed you off in another thread or what. My understanding was that rv was sick earlier but fine race day...team green just gave us some more insight and I think I made some decent points as did you..I like rvv I want him to win it...I hope he is. Danger man this weekend3rd was great but. What worried me was that gap ...peace
well i understand what you were trying to say... you were just bench racin, talkin about possibilities....
don't sweat sondy.... she has a thing for rv and on top of that must be uptight about something, sheesh...

On Friday...RV was more than "Jus' a lil' bit Sick".

I'm thinkin' you saw a very reserved and "survival mode" Ryan.

Also, I'm of the opinion that K-Dub will stay "towards" the front better than he did at Hangtown: He had -2- days on the bike and was still recovering (sore) from Vegas.

Chad put A LOT of TIME in on the "Factory Honda" & it Showed! He looked like an Assassin! Practice and Testing paid off: His bike worked like it was a CG "Effect" in a Star Wars flick.

Then there's the 377: He'll get faster/stronger as the season goes on...and his bike (Set-Up) will get better.

Now, what's up with Baker?

Nonsense. None of the top 4 had a lot of time for outdoor testing.

Chad's words:
"The first time I rode Outdoors was Tuesday after Vegas, and I still felt hungover. It was a weird day [laughs]. So, we didn't really accomplish a lot that day. Then, I tested Wednesday and then I tested Thursday. We took the weekend off. Actually, I rode on Saturday and then I went and watched the GP. And then I tested once on Tuesday. So, three days of testing before here."

I thought RV was a little too confident coming into the weekend. "I beat these guys before I should beat them again" I think that was the direct quote.

Probably shouldn't be talking like that if your that sick.

That being said, it's way too early to really predict who is gonna do what. Let's just enjoy the ride.

Everybody, Meet Paul. Paul, meet Everybody.

If I ever had a Little Brother, it's this Smart-Ass.

Hah! Notice I caught that immediately...?

Punky, we miss you guys...it's your turn and your time to come out to Cali.

Oh, and...you said that you thought Chad was gonna kick some asses on a Honda after you saw his results on the Voda-bike.

Looks like you were right.

Stay away from the Tornadoes!
