doesn't make sense to me.

ps... James didn't win the championship because there were 3 better guys every week, not because he was on a yamaha

Anythings possible, and with James having , not only his own team, but his Sponsers also, Whistling

Now i will admit, the SX class , really has some great racers now,and its gotten closer and closer, speed wise in the last couple of yrs, the reason James didnt win the 2011 SX title is, he crashed out, too many times, knocked him self silly at more than one race, and if he didnt have, concussions, probably was at least minor or slight concussions, IMO, im no Dr and i didnt stay at a Holiday Inn last night,,Laughing Laughing Whistling

As for Dungey leaving, maybe Suzuki is getting rid of the factory team like Yamaha did.

I think KTM would not be best for Dungey from a bike standpoint.

Now someone might say that they do great in Europe, and they do, but it may have to do with the fuel and noise levels. I don't know but it does seem like they Kan't Take Motocross in America.
Glad you came up with a new name for ktm, will you move on already? Stating it twice makes you seem really proud of it

Just a thought, there is life after MX, maybe Short being under RD's tent can benefit him in the future?? Spud Walters has worked for Honda, has for years.

My sources say JS7 will be riding a new TM! He won't have to change the color of his rig that way, just put a sticker over the part that says Yamaha. Why not.

Dungey is smarter than that! he wont ride a KTM! Sometimes change is good, and Ryan would fit really well on a honda.......Think about it, has KTM ever won in the USA in the 450 class? Now maybe if Ryan was on the downside of his career he might sign with KTM.......but hes not!

Agreed!

This point in Stewart's career came much quicker than I expected. To tell you the truth I had written Reed off after last year too but comparing Stewart and Reed is comparing apples to oranges.

One is a racer and the other is an entertainer IMO.

For all you guys talking about James to "Team Suzuki" get a clue. If he ends up on a yellow bike it will be for the team that he BOUGHT this year.

And the tweet before the Suzuki rumor said that a Yamaha guy confirmed that Stewart still has 1 year left on his deal with Yamaha. If that deal gets broken I would guess it would not come cheaply.

You could not have hit the nail any more square on the head.

I wouldn't be surprised if he changed his name to Stewart the Entertainer.

My thoughts also...

For those saying Stewart is past his prime, wait till he's on a bike he's comfortable with. Still fastest guy on a Yamaha, on a Suzuki he wouldn't need to push nearly as hard to go just as fast.

hidden agenda? are you serious? you wrote the comment, "there were 3 better guys every week..." which is obviously not true. The Math I learned at school, "every week" would mean 17 out of 17 rounds. He almost won 1/3 of the rounds and could very easily won more....hard to understand where "3 better guys every week" came from?

I am not a huge fan but also not a hater and IMHO, he was the fastest guy out there and should have won the title....Some of my Euro buddies always tell me that the fastest lap times means everything.....

What makes you think Dungey won't ride a KTM? You do know that KTM is involved, to an extent, with the Dungey family, right? Blake rides KTM and Jade was a wrench for a KTM team. At least that was the case recently...

Oh, and yes, KTM has won in the 450 class.

KTM hasn't won on the 450 in SX ... But, I think KTM is the only brand improving their bikes right now. The other four are status quo, not a single one of them looks any better or seems to have made improvements from last year. Give KTM a year or two & a top rider, the days of looking to the past will be short sighted.

Stewart's value has dropped and is dropping as we speak. his issues are not the bike but certainly could be compounded by a different bike imho.

I agree... What bike won most of the MX MAG shootouts this year? KTM 450. Also, KTM is very dominant in Europe. I think they just have not had a top level 450 rider on the bike yet. Look at Roczen on the 250, killing it. On JS7 - The fact of the matter is That Stewart did not race the nationals because he has issues with the bike. Its not a money thing or a bonus thing. He is not going to race one equipment that he feels he cannot win or feels safe on. Believe me, Red Bull would throw in some cash to fund his team for outdoors.... And on Dungey to KTM - Like I said mark my words.

Bad talk the Kawi all ya want but it really seemed to work for Stewart, one can't forget the amazing years he had in 07 and 08. The kawis are very stable at speed, and Stewart knew how to get them to turn, seems it suited his style

Grinning MA800 and Justin Brayton both have won on a 450 KTM outdoors...

Some of you sound like news casters on MSNBC or Fox News. You take a little tidbit of information and blow it out of proportion. A rider has a bad race = he'll never win again. A rider wins going away, you start a bandwagon and an "undefeated" tally. It's as if you had never raced before yourselves.

Wait, you have raced before right? Is that too much to assume from vital members?

how did short's consistency go last year?.. with the two bike problems he had with Honda

missed a moto because it wouldn't start at freestone then missed practice at southwick and had to take last pick of the gate
