Digging the online play a lot, pretty clean very few glitches my entire time playing. I get to bang bars and not have to try and tip toe around some when passing like in reflex. I do wish you could make him not so rigid which makes him loop out extremely easy. Just seems to happen a lot when you are even barely pressing back on the reflex stick.

Finally was able to get online last night as PSN finally rebounded. The online play is 100% better than REFLEX. Its nice to actually battle rather than getting punted of the track when you get bumped slightly. Cant wait to get the Stewart compound. Unfortunately the PSN Store is still "undergoing maintenance".

with dlc prices like that, it should be the last nail in the mva coffin.

I believe Microsoft sets the prices, not THQ. Either way, If you dont wanna buy it then don't, how simple is that?

Every time I try to play online I keep getting put on the track alone. Is no one on PS3 or what? Same crap as Reflex.

A lobby to choose which race you want to enter would be so much better. Getting thrown where ever the game wants you sucks.

that's weird man, on xbox i usually play full rooms on private mode, but even when i play on public i am always put right into a room with 5+ riders and by the time the race starts there are 10-12.

i'm thinking it is PS3 related, maybe everyone out there doesn't know that the network is back up and working?

The only thing the ONLINE mode is missing is different game modes that you can pick from, kind of like call of duty.

I it possible to do have options for rooms, like below.

Nationals Only (one race or a series of 5 races with an overall champ)
Short Track Only
Free Ride
Free Style (most points)
SX Only
50 races
125 only
250f only

etc...

My PS3 experience with this game is like casing a triple. Neither are very good.

Thats strange, i had a few races online last night with no probs on PS3

If mine goes back it sure won't be for the 360 version. I bought Reflex for both to play friends on both consoles, but this game hasn't excited me nearly enough to do that again.

I've only spent a few hours playing the game and it's ok. I'm pretty much on board with most of what people have pointed out as the flaws, but i'm really not too happy about THQ nickel and diming us to add more content to the game (additional tracks ect...). So if adding 2 tracks costs $5, how much is it going to cost to add a series of supercross tracks?

Another thing that is super lame that I think someone mentioned is they advertised the heck out of this game during the supercross season and then release the game with no SX tracks. LAME.

If the OEM bikes don't add anything other than a name and looks, it's a waste of money IMO. I could care less what bike my giant is riding. If there's no added performance, there's no need in it.
