My friends and I had a short arguement about it. In my opinion determination is having the drive to wake up in the morning and train, rain or dry, and work as hard as you can for the weekend, and heart is the determination you have while your racing (and training). Heart is when you crash and you have no visor and your half a lap behind but your still pushing your hardest. My friends think Heart is how hard you train. What's your thoughts on this?
determination is focus on a goal no matter the hardship.

the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling a purpose.
heart
[hahrt]
–noun
1.
Anatomy . a hollow, pumplike organ of blood circulation, composed mainly of rhythmically contractile smooth muscle, located in the chest between the lungs and slightly to the left and consisting of four chambers: a right atrium that receives blood returning from the body via the superior and inferior vena cavae, a right ventricle that pumps the blood through the pulmonary artery to the lungs for oxygenation, a left atrium that receives the oxygenated blood via the pulmonary veins and passes it through the mitral valve, and a left ventricle that pumps the oxygenated blood, via the aorta, throughout the body.
Maybe I would use heart as in RC racing everything like Nats, SX and mxDn and while doing it went all in and therefore also determination, while Stewart and MC maybe will be the more determination kind of guy for me since they seems/seemed to lack the heart for the sport in general but showed amazing determination in the SX.
Not saying that's a fact, but again it's personal and therefore arbitrary when it comes to heart.

So you're saying it takes just pure determination to get up and train in the morning, and no heart while you're doing it?
Awesome definitions!
I look at riding and training as two factors: Dedication, and Commitment.
