I'm at level 31 and still not "loving it", there's just no flow. Still waiting for online and SX....
How did you get to level 10 in 30 minutes?
That means level 25 in another 45 minutes
You would get to level 50 in 2.5 Hours. Game finished.

What is your secret to finish the game in 2.5 hours? Many people would like know.

LOL i wouldn't call it bagging on others, just makes me laugh how everyone was so quick to be negative about the game and then slowly more and more people changed their mind and started liking it. I respect any opinion just not the ones that are based on an hours game play.

Easy man, turn all assist of, play short track, the figure of 8 one, cant remember what its called, change it to 5 laps and All time difficulty, takes about 11 sec a lap so in under a minute a race, you get about 1700xp per race and just do that over and over again Smile i played 45 palms a couple times to and liked that track a lot, i have a fully moded 125 now or 3 stars what ever its called, so will add the exhaust and frame after work, heard it makes a big difference.

Will keep going till i get to level 25 and then just play all the other tracks then so i can fully enjoy everything at once LOL

Level 30 and I still feel like I'm trying to talk myself into liking the game. I've liked every other game from Rainbow/THQ the minute I played it, as far back as Motocross Madness. Im not trying to bash them because I appreciate the fact that there is another game for us to play. I'm just disappointed that it is more like an arcade game, than the realistic experience they have given us in the past.

I think many people would and will continue to play Reflex if the server issue wasn't such a pain.

i still think reflex is alot better game. i only like this one because the tracks are better and new. if we could have these tracks on reflex it would be cool

I really think game should be it, like just have DLC to continue the franchise. Honestly there is very little I would change. Like most, I don't really understand the taunts, but alas it is not my game to design. I actually like leveling up, it reminds me of the COD franchise where if you want an awesome gun you have to work for it; same concept and it works. The preload for me is inconsistant in supercross, but JS7's compound is just insane. That SX track is so tough, but it really rewarding: THIS GAME IS REWARDING.

Pros:
Bike feels like it should.
Graphics, I think the graphics are pretty good.
Tracks, I really like a lot of the outdoor tracks.
Options- From graphics to gear, to customizing the plastic and wheels. They took the best things from Untamed and added them in this game. I don't think anyone has mentioned this but I think it's really neat to be able to switch between different sets of gear with just a click of a button, instead of having to change everything all over again.

Realistic- This game has it. you cannot just go through the whole course holding the bike wide open. You have to think about being smooth and not just going all out.

Cons:
Other than the obvious taunts, which I can completely get over and it something that is fun every once in a while:
Rider stance- which again I can get over and have no real problems with because the more flow you get with a track the better the rider looks.
Numbers- The numbers look weird, why not come up with a few different styles of numbers. You already have tons of gear options and background options, I feel like this was left out.

Other than that I'm really impressed. Thank you THQ Phoenix for producing a solid game.

Level 23. I want to like this game, but I can't. It has potential but as it is... it's garbage.

Reached level 47...

The scrub reward thing you get around level 44 allows you to carry more speed, which helps A LOT. Finally figured out the preload which helps too. I've noticed this game is focused much more on the front wheel rather than reflex, that tended to turn with the rear wheel.

Like Reflex I just think it takes some time

Not a fan of the narrower style tracks, hoping SX tracks aren't all as tight as those in the stewart compound

Not everyone is going to love the game, give it some time and I feel the community will like the game.

Ok Just leveled up to 50 tonight and yeah, overall there are alot of things needing work and yes I bitched alot earlier, but it is really fun once you get the fully modded 450 and being able to go after your best laps on tracks, its fun looking for new lines and scrubbing more and trying different jump combos, its kind of addicting once you get the feel for going really fast. That being said the supercross at Stewarts house just isn't spaced right for the current control limitations, it's dumb that the red Dirt sx flows better backward than forward and all the steep sx jumps just kill your momentum and make it really hard to cleanly jump sections. Current overall rating 8 out of 10. Have yet to play online so may get better depending on that.

im up to level 15 now and i am thinking holy crap, do they think that the only people that play this game are teenagers without a care in the world. Some of us have a job, a 4 week old baby, accually ride and race in real life, leaves very little time to play video games. What little bit i play i want to have fun, long story short, WHERE'S THE CHEAT CODE??? If i had the interwebs at my house i would buy the full unlock in a heartbeat.

Besides that...

The cornering action is awesome! Clutch makes a huge difference and has to be used properly. The jumping action on take off is good but once in the air and upon landing reflex is definitely better. In the new game you can't straighten out your whips with the throttle like you could on reflex, i been doing alot of landing on my elbows (and still not crashing). Also in the new game i seem to lose alot of momentum everytime my tires leave the ground. Think i may be landing with the front end too high and losing my drive. It seems hard to keep the front end down and im am only on a 125, that 450 is gonna be a bear to keep down in the front.

Tracks are not impressing me, they are ok i guess. The jury is still out, and probably will be for the next 6 months while i try to get them all unlocked.

Bottom line, i am glad to have a fresh game to play and im sure it will get better.

Why does MX put the game on the cheapest, lightest disc? On Reflex, I went through about 5 of them. Also, when is the time frame for SX?

I love the way the camera shakes when you go fast - great effect.

finally played yesterday for the first time and as for the previous versions, after reading all the negativeness about it on here I was a bit wtf?
It took a bit of getting used to, but I dig the game. Very happy with the handling, the first tracks, the online. I miss the wrist twist but that's not a big thing. Love the graphics,

working hard to get my XPs up Smile

Reflex was awesome besides a few things, the biggest being it was too easy once you figured it out. It was a fun learning curve, but now the only way to make a hard race is to wait on the start or get in 12th after the first lap. Holeshot and win is too easy, on all time it should be extremely hard to win, crashing twice should put you out of contention.

Was this fixed in alive? Is it actually difficult to win on all time? So far I am on the fence on buying it, I want to because its a MX game, but some of the reviews are just bad, and the videos dont impress me too much.

Are there really no replays? The ones on Reflex were a joke, pretty much crashes or finish line jump over and over. What happened to the EA Supercross 2000 replays? You could watch any rider, any view, pause, slowmo, fast forward,... it was awesome. That is still the most played game for me. Physics were horible, handling was terrible, but it was difficult and it had the best career mode ever. You could set the difficulty in lots of ways, and play seasons over and over battling Doug Henry and Jeff Emig.

A+

Lets see........turns better.....collision fixed...........track deformation less extreme...........AI players are actually fast.................If the PS3 network play is fixed this is a home run! Don't listen to the complainers Elliot, you guys done good. The usual whiners will complain no matter what and half of them don't even have the game (the other half are the same members second or third Vital account sign in names).........

The best part is I don't have to play on line with the dick heads, cheats, take out artists and jack wagons, the AI players are fun to race against.......Who needs the PS3 network now......(just need the DLC)........

THQ, you might want to think about selling an expansion pack with tracks, bikes, faster AI, etc. in a CD Disc format. You could market it on-line at the THQ site and sell direct. I'd buy one right now, screw SONY, whats to say it doesn't happen again to both XBOX and PS3. Take matters into your own hands and put the content on a disc.

Thanks THQ......

I haven't read the last couple pages but I have to say after reaching level 25, the game is good!
Minus the retarded hand gestures and yelling..
Too bad it takes so long to get to the good part of the game, I know a lot of people who stopped playing after level 10.
The tracks at level 25 are all good, the only good track before 25 is Grandview.

the stewart compound is pretty hard. The pro track on the 125 for 5 laps is a 15 min moto.

anyone else think the sx tracks are hard?

last night i kept getting put in a room by myself and no one joined. i did it a few times and only rode a few laps before i left and retried, no dice tho.

the first days it worked fine tho.

dude... the stewart compound definitely requires a mod250f or 450f.

the supercross tracks are really tough, but once you get a good rhythm going it gets very rewarding.

moto48... that's weird man, i did public rooms for over an hour before joining a private room of 5 guys, what's your gamer tag? next time i get on i will send you an invite to our game room

I'm happy and have a PS3 with no Stewart Compound yet. Level 37 and counting. Keeping my fingers crossed that DLC will be in abundance of tracks!

that doesn't make sense... when you turn on your xbox, you should automatically log in to your profile.

when you start the game and play it, there is auto-save, so no manual saving necessary.

maybe you were signed into a different profile?

I cannot for the life of me get any sort of rhythm on the Stewart SX tracks. My guy either loops out or cases the shit out of everything. Outdoor tracks are amazing though. Anyone else having trouble with the supercross tracks?
