For what it's worth, the 10-day forecast runs up to the Wednesday before the race at this point, and it is showers the five days running into Wednesday. We had showers overnight, and generally the temps have been and are predicted to be mild for a May. The rub is that unless something changes radically, we're on track for terrific conditions.
Late May is always a crap shoot here; more often than not it's pretty hot, so this is good news.
They should be on the track build by now I think. Hope they're adding width and a really photogenic whip generator of a jump.

Once in 1990 and then the infamous mudder of 1991, i even raced the amatuer day of it,(i say raced more like survived it)
lol im a fairly decent mud rider, but thats the worst ive ever seen it, parts of the track had 8-12 inchs of water running across it,i finished in the top 15, of the +25 class, not bad considering i didnt have mud tires or my bike set up for 40 extra mud pnds lol and was also active duty in the US Navy at the time.
Lets hope that this yrs Hangtown is dry or semi dry, with both classes being so stacked, should be some awesome racing for the opening round, USGP this weekend, then Hangtown, cant wait,
02 was really rainy. The ten years or so before then it seemed like it was a 100+ every time.
A day like last year would be perfect. The clouds made for great shooting.
