Jordon Smith's long-awaited debut in 450SX competition has not quite run as planned – inconsistency has been rife and there is consequently just one top ten on his scorecard. It's been a difficult term for Triumph, as well as Smith, and the frustration was apparent when Vital MX's Lewis Phillips pinned him down after round fifteen of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. Here, Smith discusses that and some elements that he perhaps underestimated in the wintertime.
