Ring end gap ?

I'm doing my first ever top end on a 125sx and I forgot to check the REG. The cylinder was honed and I installed a dual ring oem A piston. Should I pull it down and measure the end gaps or can I run it?

Pull it apart and measure gaps, would hate for them to be tight and have issues, the gap is there for reason
