Trying to put a new seat cover on my 24 KX450 and for the life of me I cannot get it on correctly. Is it the shape of the seat on these bikes? Or is the quality of Guts just gone downhill? I’ve done many many seat covers before with no issue, but cannot get the fabric in between the ribs to be tight. Front, rear and sides are tight as can be, there just seems to be too much material in the middle of the seat. Any suggestions?
I have a GUTS seat cover for a '24 KX 450 sitting on my desk right now. I will keep you posted on fitment.
I appreciate it. It’s just bizzare, last couple guts covers for my Husky have fit great. They didn’t hold up very well in the knee area, but fitment was spot on and installation was easy as can be.
Packaging says ‘24 KX450 and the length and width of the cover seems pretty darn close. Just seems like there’s a little too much material in between ribs down the center and it’s impossible to get that area tight.

Did you put it on over the stock cover? I opened mine up and it looked really big. All of the previous GUTS covers I did (KTM's) I had to take the stock cover off. This one stretched out over the stock cover easily and had plenty of material underneath. I have not tried to staple it on yet
